  • Guts & Grace - Episode 6 - Owning Your Badassery with Satya Kothimangalam
I'm so glad that I met Satya last year. She inspires me with her bubbly energy, adventurous spirit, and badass life! Badassery, after all, is Satya's specialty. She's all about doing what you love in a way that feels good to you, rather than keeping your head down and doing what's expected. And she's built a beautiful life that way!
In this episode, we take a deep dive into what it actually looks like to build a life on your terms, and how to navigate the tensions and challenges that undoubtedly arise when you choose to forge your own path. If you want some inspiration to encourage you to march to the beat of your own drum, you are in the right place.
Satya walks the talk. From turning down a lucrative, practical job offer in her early 20's to her solo travel adventures, she shows us how it's done. We talk about how burning your bridges can sometimes be the best idea you ever had, how to find freedom by being brutally honest about what works for you and what doesn't, making your own rules (and making more money), and how to move through the fear of it all.
Satya is the founder + brand strategist at ZAG Studios.
She helps creative entrepreneurs and service-based businesses create wildly profitable brands that stand out, command high rates, and attract incredible clients - easily.
She has helped hundreds of startups, creative entrepreneurs and fast-growing agencies stand out and dominate their market over the last few years.
Satya has been featured in some pretty cool places like Inc, Digital Marketing Summit Asia and Women 2.0. She splits her time between Singapore, Dubai and other countries with fast wifi.

  • Guts & Grace - Episode 5 - Mindful Communication with Jo Rodrigues
Speaking up for ourselves can be hard--especially for those of us who have been conditioned to hold our tongues for the sake of not rocking the boat. It's hard to keep your composure and communicate clearly when stakes are high and you're having all the feels. That's where Jo Rodrigues comes in. In today's episode of Guts & Grace, she teaches us how to show up in tough conversations in a way that leads to positive outcomes.
Jo is a conflict resolution trainer and coach. For 14 years she has worked with UN agencies and NGOs in training, coaching, facilitation, as well as research and analysis. Her expertise is on Women, Peace and Security (WPS), Gender Equality and Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) issues. She also facilitates inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue with a focus on Middle East-West relations.
Over the years, she determined a need in humanitarian aid and international development to address conflict, workplace harassment and nurture resilience. Today she offers coaching, facilitation and training to individuals and groups on how to transform conflict, improve communication, address workplace violence, nurture self-awareness, develop self-care practices and maintain healthy boundaries.

  • Guts & Grace - Episode 2 - Feeling Your Flow with Jenn Walker
The world seems to have agreed on a very linear expectation of constant and consistent flow - we show up every day at the same time and put out the same amount of work. This applies not only to our work, but also to our exercise habits, eating patterns, and social lives. Routine is revered as a way to keep yourself on track for maximum efficiency. I get that discipline and consistency are important, but I've started to wonder whether this approach is as helpful as we think it is.
What if the secret to getting more done and finding more fulfillment lay in giving yourself permission to do things your way?
Join Jenn Walker and I as we dive deep into surrender, moon cycles, taking cues from nature, and ultimately leading your life.
Jenn Walker inspires and supports amazing people so that they can lead the life they love.  She does this because she believes this will transform the world.  As we step into our own, and lead the life we love, we step into the world, leading with our hearts.  Leading with Creativity, Compassion, Love, Empathy, Playfulness, and Innovation is Game-Changing!
