In December of 1994 South African paramedics arrived at a scene to provide care for a young woman who had survived a brutal attack, but after seeing her injuries they assumed it was too late for her and that she’d soon die but, they were wrong.

In 2001 a man was sentenced to death in Missouri even after forensic and DNA evidence showed that he was nowhere near the crime, and in 2024 he was executed for the crime even though the victims family themselves protested his execution. This is his story.
