Things are rebooted in the season two premiere. We take a look at how this changes things for our Smallville quartet. We also unpack whether superheroes should be outed. Lots more as we catch up on this week's episode of Guys Without Capes.
Hey everyone! This week's episode surrounds the events of Spring Formal. As the formal gets underway, a tornado threatens the peace of the small town. Whitney bails as Lana's date and heads off to the marines instead, Chloe drives Clark to the formal in style, and Pete is going with none other than ERICA FOX. Lots of laughs between us guys as we reflect on the past 6 months of content that we've created. Come join us as we wrap up the premiere season of Smallville.
We can't believe we're almost done the first season. Obscura is the penultimate episode in Smallville's first season. Lana gains some powers after a freak explosion in some field somewhere in Smallville after she and cowboy Whitney trot around. She sees through the lenses of an unknown kidnapper who has their eyes on Chloe. This week's Guys Without Capes episode examines the setup for the season finale and talks about how disruption creates the tension necessary to wrap up 21 episodes and windup the next.
With just three more episodes to go, we take on episode 19, Crush. This week's Smallville episode features guest star Adam Brody, whose character has the power of telekinesis (and magical drawing ability? and clairvoyance?) after getting injured in a brutal hit and run. We talk about the deaths of some minor characters and how they have major implications in the show. Also, MARK IS BACK! We laugh, and cry (from laughing too much), and talk deep thoughts on this episode of Guys Without Capes. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
We're back folks! Justin and I (Tim) explore this week's episode of Smallville. Drone introduces us to Sasha who can command a swarm of bees. She takes down her political opponents using her bee powers. Lana has to save the Talon without the help of Lex. Clark gets wrapped up in the popularity contest. Watch out this week as we release our Smallville Soundtrack Mixtape.
Guess who's back, back again, Mark is back, tell your friends. Mark is back from Hyootas! Just like a virile springbok, Mark hops to it and fills in the gaps for the past two episodes, Nicodemus and Stray. We also talk about this week's Smallville ep, Reaper, where one man has the quest to open up the conversation about medical(?) assistance in dying. Also, a big thanks to you, our loyal listeners. While we started doing this for ourselves, we notice that some of you have decided to tag along with us in our journey through Smallville. Enjoy this week's episode!
The Guys are back at it this week. Mark's away at Mount Hyootas again this week and Tim makes his way to one of the Southern Gulf Islands of BC. Justin's at home, but we didn't want him to feel left out, so there's a picture that he took when he went to South Africa. Though some of the Guys aren't home, they can't stop, won't stop! In this week's Smallville episode, Martha hits a kid with her car. But don't fret, he has super powers. No, not eye lasers, not even ice breath. Super strength? Naw. He can read people's minds. The Kent family shows their super power, kindness and hospitality, to the psychic young one. The Guys break Stray down on this week's episode of Guys Without Capes. Don't miss it!
M&Ms, Whitney One-Scenes, and ElectricCircus. The Guys are back at it with this week's instalment of Guys Without Capes. In this week's episode, Lex confronts his dark past which should've have died a long time ago. Clark interrogates Lex, Chloe interrogates Clark. Cows die. Doppelgangers. Holy moly, contrary to the Zero title of this episode, there's a lot packed into it. Tell us what's your favourite Whitney Fordman one scene and join in the conversation on this week's episode.
Inksync. What tattoo would be your next (or first) tattoo? Meteor rock-laced tattoo ink gives three meatheads the power to go through walls. Eric Johnson gets a leading role in this episode. The Guys pick apart this week's episode of Smallville talking about cameos, ink, and how strong (weak?) this week's episode is. Come join in on this installment of Guys Without Capes.
