What's up, everybody?! It's time for a discussion topic episode of the deepest weekly games discussion show in these here parts. DBqhams serves up a three course meal of discussion by taking us down into the 9th dream level with his topic:

"If we break games down into binary camps, those being "being told a story" vs "shaping the story", what keeps gamers, us, wrapped up in a game? What causes us to fall off?"

Better get the architect, 'cause this mutha is deeeeepp!!!

Finally, we take a look at a famous missed connection from NYC. A woman has her written missed connection from Craigslist blown up into a billboard in order to find the potential love of her life, the elusive Man with the Yellow Shoes. Was she successful? Find out.

Also in this episode: Tommy’s Foghorn Leghorn tattoo dreams, the flooding Flint River, Friendly Dads and Dad questions, the return of Funnel Cloud Charles, and the stupidity of honesty.

What you're about to listen to this week is something special.

Literally for YEARS now, Tom has been wanting to produce a podcast dedicated to the now defunct Wizard Magazine, but due to time and scheduling issues, he just never had the chance.

And then along comes one of Jake and Tom's partners in internet radio, The PodFix Network.

They needed content to fill their weekly show, "PodFix Presents", and not wanting to let the opportunity pas by, Tom leaped at the chance to finally pursue his passion project.

And here it is:  The first in a six part season of "Wizard Rewind", in which your hosts are joined by fellow PodFixer Chris (of the excellent podcast, More Gooder Than) to look back on and discuss Wizard Issue 36.

Topic in the magazine range from then-upcoming books from Joe Quesada's Event Comics, the beginning of Marvel's "Spider Clone" saga, behind the scenes news on the movie that became "Batman Forever", as well as a hidden surprise in the letter column.

Now - after you finish listening to this episode, head on over to www.podfixnetwork.com to catch the rest of this season of Wizard Rewind, and more importantly, the rest of the networks lineup!  There, you'll find all kinds of great shows to cover all of your pop culture needs!

We are LIVE at Planet Comicon 2018! My special guests are Maurice LaMarche from 'Pinky & The Brain', Kevin Conroy from 'Batman: TAS' and 2 time Eisner Award winning comic artist Rick Burchett!!

So back in a GenXer’s younger days, we knew the value of a good education. The first thing we did when we got home was study and do our homework……. BWA-HA-HA-HA! Sorry, I couldn’t keep a straight face with that one. Are you kidding?! We would do anything but our homework! Part of our distraction was the afternoon TV targeting us as kids. And we were powerless…..

The ruler of Wakanda, The King of the Dead, and one of the smartest men in the marvel universe. B is for Black Panther this episode of N is for Nerd.
