So honestly, not much TV got watched, we didn’t keep up with everybody’s drama, and we weren’t pondering life’s big questions... because we were too busy living it.

Still, we hope you enjoy what we do get into—like, how exactly does one go about getting a raccoon as a pet? And also... when will MAGA folks learn to stay off HBCU campuses?

Our hearts are heavy following the latest school shooting. We've been reflecting deeply on the mental health crisis and the troubling reality that gun violence has become a coping mechanism for some in this generation.

In pop culture, we couldn’t miss GloRilla’s sharp clapback at YG and Mariah the Scientist. And of course, there was a spicy little bonus from Sugarbook Club that added some extra flavor to the mix.

Although it was a week and weekend packed with time spent with family, friends, and projects, we still found time to recap some of it for you.

TV this week brought plenty of variety: the new shows Orphan Black (it's new to us) and The Paper, the eye-opening America’s Game: The Cowboys documentary on Netflix, and the ever-intriguing Invasion—seriously, if you're not watching it, what are you doing?

We also share our thoughts on the leaked Young Thug jailhouse phone calls and break down what happens when a pizza delivery goes completely off the rails.

This week, an unexpected caller took our show in a slightly different direction—but in the best way possible. We had a fun and candid conversation with Granna about everything from men waxing, to the importance of fulfilling sexual partners, to finding that one person who truly gets you on every level.

We also took a quick moment to weigh in on the Cardi B lawsuit—sharing our thoughts on a trial that probably should’ve never made it to court. Can someone say countersuit?

Add in our recap of what turned out to be a very eventful week, and let’s just say we were more than grateful for the extra day of rest this holiday weekend.
