So many of you have asked how my spiritual journey began, who fostered it, who challenged it. Well, this podcast is about that guy. Scott Heare is a treasure. He has a heart the size of Texas and the deepest well of knowing. Scott is the one who taught me long ago, it's not arriving at an answer, it's in asking better questions. He is a Methodist Pastor, but to simply introduce him that way, is far too small and too confining a box. He is a friend. He is my mentor and he was my first Rabbi. So grateful to him for not only the spiritual lessons but the understanding of my identity, sonship and my why.

Do you live your story or do you live your life like a story erased? Sometimes we can lose our fire. For me, life is about letting go and beginning again. In this video, I share about a near death experience and how this taught me to not play small, use my voice and the importance of learning from all things including our oneness with nature. Following, I offer a guided meditation about learning from trees as a teacher and what they have to share.

This podcast was special. I had the honor of listening to the wise takeaways of my son as we travel through his journey. We talk about what tennis has meant to him, the identity it provided, the lessons learned from understanding who we are. We dove into how the view of ourselves matters, the importance of learning from everyone and so much more. Jake shares about the great people he's been privileged to teach and those he's had the pleasure of learning from. And of course we talk about learning from ourselves and transformation.
