Abu and Ngartia are both comedians, writers, and actors who founded, among many things, “Too Early for Birds”, which is one of the most (if not the most) successful theatre shows in the history of the country with a crew and cast of over 20 people. The work of historian and blogger Owaahh inspired the show and its title. The show has been called “funny and reflective” by audiences and has been seen by hundreds of people, including the families of some of the most heroic Kenyans depicted in the stories.

On the Season One Finale we have SURAJ, a renowned DJ and producer from Kisumu, Kenya. His productions fuse ethnic tribal elements with modern day electronic sounds. He is shaping up to be one of the most celebrated DJs and producers in Africa.  He speaks to us about his personal journey as an artist and reads a composition titled "Birds of A Feather", which is the story of an unwelcome adventure that ensues as a result of peer pressure.

Juliani is a rapper, an active citizen, a poet and an entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Dandora and was once a member of the renowned Hiphop group Mau Mau. His rap skills and passionate delivery easily earned him a spot as one of Kenya's foremost lyricists. He is reading a composition titled "Kidnapped", which is a dramatic story of a group of young people who's act of defiance got them into trouble that they were unable to extricate themselves from.

Dennis is a Kenyan rugby sevens player. He competed for Kenya at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He also was a member of the squad that competed at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Russia. He went to a few high schools and then attended The University of Nairobi. He has gained an impressive following online because of his amazing skills on stove and a killer personality. He recently launched his own line of sauces for Kenyans who love to throwdown, but perhaps his most recent achievement is becoming a dad. He is reading a composition titled "Never Judge a Book by Its Cover". It is the story of a very surprising turn of events.

Musician and fine artist Labdi tackles a composition titled "Once Bitten Twice Shy" which tells the story of a close encounter with an invader. Stick around at the end of the episode for a snippet of her new single, Duogi.

Sharon is a passionate story-teller who's main medium is Journalism. She's currently a TV & Radio presenter at the BBC (Africa) where she hosts youth facing shows. Her main focus is on Urban-African Culture and has a strong passion for the Creative Economy. She is also an amazing entrepreneur.  She is reading an insha titled "Achanikaye kwa Mpini Hafi Njaa", which is an amazing and magical story that hits home for most of us.

 Mwass is an amazing adman, social media influencer and all around creative . He is reading an insha titled "Mwalimu Wangu Mwiria". It is a heartwarming story of a student and her relationship with her teacher.

Ciku is a singer, song-writer, model, actress and content producer. She started her singing career from the tender age of 14 and has been making waves in the entertainment industry since.  She is reading a composition titled "A Dose of My Own Medicine" which is about an exciting trip that doesn't go according to plan.
