I hear a lot of comments about people disliking these guys and there platform , but I genuinely believe they are misunderstood 

So I focus on getting to know them and what they're true  intentions are with this podcast 

while also  asking them a series  of questions about women today, society and men taking accountability .

Without a doubt one of the hardest lessons thats taken me the longest to learn is that you cant change people .

Ive tried . Ive sent people reels, youtube links, quotes, pages out of book . Ive listened to them and had hour long conversations about what they want out of life and what they struggle with .

Ive had conversations about there health issues and what they could do to fix it. And time and time and time again Ive been forced to accept that there is no way to make people change. Even when its for the better .

If they do not truly want it for themself , then it will not happen . After years of waiting and expecting Ive learned to let go of the disappointment . And also learned that taking it personal was not only unfair to them but it was especially unfair to me !

We don't get to snap our fingers and create better realties for the people we love. Thats Gods job , but what we can do is learn to accept them and love them for who they are and where they are .

And with work and healthy detachment somehow find peace in that  .

In America

It doesn't take long to attach yourself to an idea of "Success"

The idea of having more than enough money, access to cars clothes and a Home. These things are absolutely a bi product of accomplishment.

But any affluent person who is wise, and has had access to wealth  will tell you , "Money isn't everything". 

Family is . Theres a warmth and lasting impression that comes from love and connection that can not be purchased . Fulfillment , Purpose , Love and Happiness. These  words are the fruit of your labor when you connect with those that connect with you .

Have goals, make plans. But never assume you have time. God has plans for all of us ,and sometimes those plans don't go as we expect.

Now Im not one of those people that would say you don't need money.
Money eases alot of stress and anxiety ,which is why were motivated to make it .  But I know  money wont buy me peace if Im filled with regret

Life is a teacher that constantly encourages  balance 

 I believe that the art of "giving" is what brings joy to the happiest people . But nobody is perfect, and even the best of us get tired of asking for what we so willingly give.

In these moments I believe it is important to prioritize self, so that you may continue to show up as the selfless and radiant person you can be.

Fill your cup ,so that you may have more than enough to give when it's time to share again. Not only for others ,but most importantly for yourself

Being stuck in the "weird phase" is thinking you would've been married by now, and really its more like online dating apps and getting ghosted

Being stuck in the "weird phase" is practicing to become the next Lebron James and kendrick Lamar ,and its more like working from home and 5pm traffic hour

Being stuck in the "weird phase" is thinking you would have been your own boss by now, and its more like you barely pay your phone bill and car note on time

Being stuck in the weird phase is not being where you expected to be !

The mission is not to allow your expectations to bring negativity over your life

 Coming to NYC was always my Big Dream ! But out of everything I wanted  for myself ,stumbling into a career of Podcasting was not on the vision board . 4 years later its my 30th Birthday and Im so Honored to still be in this city thriving and Living the Life I always wanted.

I spent my 20s learning that "Done Is Better Then Perfect" . And even in this episode there are so many things that didn't go as planned . So many things that went wrong and that I couldn't fix . But at 30 I understand perfection is not the goal to strive for, its satisfaction and fulfillment. 

Reflecting on my 20s and wisdom I've gained from victories , accomplishments and Mistakes. I give you my imperfect but satisfied attempt, at recording a podcast underneath the Manhattan Bridge at the L.E.S skatepark Haha
