HalfGen Podcast

Think of this episode as a prelude to what is (hopefully) coming in our future Overwatch League podcast. There's like 45ish minutes of Overwatch here so keep that in mind.

Okay, so we cover most of what you expect on this one and we also throw in a little investor meeting gone wrong at the end. Something important that we said we'd get back to but forgot is that we're starting a HalfGen Book of the Month Club. I realize it is late notice but this month's book is "Halo: The Fall of Reach" and you should totally read it. Ross and I are going to do a bonuscast at some point where we talk about the book so keep an eye out for that in April.

"Big Van" a.k.a. Ross opened up the magical quote factory for a delightful little podcast. Nat makes his triumphant return and continues his home improvement section. We also get pretty nostalgic talking about toy stores, buying games before the digital age, and more about how we miss Halo.

This week we cover the latest Nintendo Direct where we got confirmation that yes, Super Smash is back for Switch and yes, it is coming in 2018. Plus we talk about how to fix Halo and eventually talk about what we've been playing.

Welcome to the latest HalfGen Podcast! We're back after a brief hiatus and ready to live up to our tagline and talk about games, after a brief detour into some anime. This week we talk about how we haven't clicked with any of 2018's new releases quite yet (and how that's likely to change in March). Also, Ross and I address our need to find another game together and come up with a few different solutions.

This week we're joined by special guest Mark as we reminisce about the old days on ThoseGamingNerds. We also talk about how awesome the Switch is and introduce Mark to the concept of Moviepass, WHICH WILL BLOW HIS MIND!

This week we celebrate the one year anniversary of the launch of the website! It's been a great year but we know we have plenty of room to grow. Listen in to hear some of the changes we're making, more about Overwatch League (including Chris' actual favorite team as of now), and a little bit of rambling because why not?

Welcome to the first podcast of the new year! As we get into the swing of 2018, allow us to regale you with what we've been doing instead of recording a podcast until now. Plus, 2018 already has some pretty interesting news to talk about.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have decided on our Game of the Year for 2017. I'm not going to tell you what we decided on because then you wouldn't listen to the podcast. You should start listening and find out.

Okay, we're almost to the finish line. As we wrap up all but one of the remaining categories, the biggest one comes next, things become clear that there are three games that stand above all others. Who will win? Find out on the next episode of the HalfGen Podcast. In the meantime, listen to this one!
