Halifax PD vs Halifax RCMP, Superintendent Dean SIMMONDS from Halifax Regional Police was wrongfully and racially pulled over by Halifax RCMP when driving back from North Preston on July 4, 2021. Simmonds Wife, who is a lawyer, described the police check as "driving while black."
