It's the championship final round where either Mary, Dan, or Meredith will be crowned the 2023 Hallmark Movie Drafts champion and take home the coveted HMD championship trophy!

An HMD Jury of their drafting peers joins the show as we move through a special, fast-paced & twisty drafting format just for this championship.

Jury members cast their votes LIVE at the end of the show for the player who they feel created the best list of 10 Hallmark movies. The 10 Hallmark movie categories are: Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes, Niall Matter, Erin Krakow, Nikki Deloach, Filmed On Location, Best Kiss, Best Ensemble Cast, Best All-Time Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza Movie, and Best All-Time Non-Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza Movie.

Guest panelists Lisa, Jen, and Meredith create the definitive top 10 list of Hallmark movies from the 16 collective movies of these three Hallstars. Three questions, three one minute rounds...lots of hilarity and dead air! They also answer three tie breaker questions whose points won't count unless there's a tie that needs to be broken. Wow! Check out the special music intro being used for the championship tournament shows only! This episode gives an overview of the 2023 Tournament of Champions which will take place throughout January 2024 as 14 panelists who won their 2023 matches compete to see who will eventually be named the 2023 Hallmark Movie Drafts champion! Lynn is joined by Erinbeth and Kate, and the three of them review the tournament format, who the 15 competing players are, and which 8 will be advancing to round 2! Round 1 was played with everyone submitting their answers via Google Forms, so it was not a recorded session. Round 2 will be a podcast that will drop later in January where you will hear the remaining 8 competitors play that round.

Shots fired right out of the gate - AGAIN! Brian, Mary, and Vanessa battle it out to create the ultimate top 10 list of the best Hallmark Christmas/Holiday movies that premiered in 2023! Guest co-host Susie gives her hot takes, joining host Lynn, and co-host Erinbeth. Some Double Deckers who drafted or guest co-hosted in 2023 join in at the end to share their takes on the final top 10 list, and the movies they loved - or didn't love-- this holiday season.

There are 42 eligible movies that aired on Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. We say booooo to Hallmark for only airing Rescuing Christmas and An Ice Palace Romance on Hallmark Movies Now as of this recording - so those aren't eligible for this draft.
