Michael Spavor, after being detained in China for over two years, has received his sentence: 11 Years in Prison, as well as a fine and deportation. This comes the day after fellow Canadian Robert Schellenberg was denied his appeal against the death sentence. Michael Kovrig, who was arrested around the same time as Spavor, is still waiting for his sentence.
