The mayors of Haldimand County and Norfolk are not happy that the Ontario government is not allowing them to move into stage 2 of phase 2 of the province’s reopening. The protested by getting socially distant haircuts in public, which has earned them some backlash. Mayor Kristal Chopp of Norfolk joined the Scott Thompson Show on Global News Radio 900 C-H-M-L to discuss the protest as well as why she thinks the region of Norfolk should been included in the next stage of reopening.

The Canada-U.S. border’s restrictions will now last until late July due to the novel coronavirus, even though there have been exemptions made already.
