The Ontario government is vowing to crack down on companies that break the new labour laws, as they try to offset costs of a higher minimum wage.

The apology that Steve Bannon issued over the weekend in regards to comments he made about Trump and his son have been rejected. Deputy press ecretary Hogan Gidley reportedly told reporters that he doesn’t “believe there is anyway back for Mr. Bannon at this point”. He also continued saying Trump stands by his belief that Bannon has lost it and is “in it for himself”.

Tomorrow local labour activists will be planning a picket at a Dundas Tim Hortons in support of minimum wage workers. The picket comes after they heard second hand that workers were losing their paid breaks.
