Russian military officials say that it was looking into whether one of it’s airstrikes has killed the leader of Daesh, Abu Bakr al-Baghdhadi. The military says they struck a meeting of ISIL officials that may have hit the leader on May 28th, though they offered no reason for why the delay in talking about the strike.

An increase in asylum claims could that Canada could see 11 year wait lists for hearings and $2.97 in social supports for claimants, according to a government analysis.
