1-hour episode; featured an opening announcement by Jim Ross that Scotty Flamingo had been fined $2,000 for leaving the broadcast booth the previous week and getting involved in the ring; included a promo by Jake Roberts regarding his facing Sting at Halloween Havoc, during which Roberts said Sting would get the chance to choose his own form of execution with Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal; featured Ross conducting an interview with Magnum TA regarding the return of Shane Douglas and Douglas using Magnum's belly to belly suplex as his finisher; included the first Halloween Havoc Control Center in which it was announced WCW World Champion Ron Simmons would face the Barbarian and NWA World Champion Masahiro Chono would face WCW US Champion Rick Rude; featured Ross conducting an interview with Cactus Jack & the Barbarian regarding the Barbarian challenging Simmons at Havoc, with Cactus saying Butch Reed was their ace in the hole; Cactus then noted Rude was also chasing Simmons and Rude always relied on Cactus to help him against the likes of Sting and Ricky Steamboat but Cactus was done doing favors for him; included Ross conducting an interview with Teddy Long, regarding the Power Hour, and WCW TV Champion Ricky Steamboat, regarding the challenge of Steve Austin!

Rick & Scott Steiner fought Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton (w/ Michael Hayes) to a time-limit draw at 17:57
Prior to the bout, it was announced Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham, & Nikita Koloff would face Jake Roberts, Cactus Jack, & the Barbarian the following night on The Main Event; it was also announced Bruno Sammartino would be part of the following week's WCW Saturday Night and Rhodes would face Roberts during the show; the Steiners cleared the ring of Anderson & Eaton just as the time limit expired!
