🚨 Big news — and major controversy — in the amateur radio world. AST SpaceMobile has received an experimental FCC license authorizing it to use 430–440 MHz, part of the 70cm amateur radio band, for satellite telemetry and control.

This license—WP2XRX—is raising red flags for many hams who rely on that spectrum for satellites, EME, and weak-signal work. Is this a dangerous precedent for commercial use of ham radio spectrum?
