Advent is the season of waiting for the birth of Jesus Christ and during this time there are many things that we can do to help us to wait well with patience, joy and peace. In our last episode we started to discuss the 128 page preface of the Theology of the Body. We looked at some of the key concerns of St. John Paul II during the time he was writing his most famous work as well as who influenced him during his time as Priest, Bishop and Cardinal. In this show Becki, Colby, Adele and Tom continue breaking open the preface by looking at JPII's thoughts behind the purpose of "the body" and the way we experience the world in and through our bodies. This episode takes a deeper look at St. John Paul II's statement, "the body and it alone is capable of making visible what is invisible."

The whole team, Colby, Becki, Adele and Tom are back together for this episode that gives you a look at the incredibly insightful preface of Theology of the Body. In part 3 of this series the team unpacks some of the key elements to the 128-page introduction to St. John Paul Ii's collection of audiences that he gave from 1979 to 1984. This show will focus on who influenced JP II and what were some of his deepest concerns during his amazing life.
