On this episode of Hanging With Apes the guys start by giving their thoughts on Eminem's surprise album, "Kamikaze." Slim Shady is back with a vengeance, dissing rappers Drake, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, Lil Xan, Machine Gun Kelly, Migos, Tyler The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt as well as rap critics Joe Budden, DJ Akademiks, Lord Jamar and Charlamagne Tha God. With headline grabbing rap lines and no filter whatsoever it is safe to say Shady is back. The guys then switch gears and give their thoughts on an ad by Bonobos called #EvolveTheDefinition where they have a variety of men recite a dictionary definition of masculinity and then proceed to disagree with that definition and suggest giving it a new meaning that is more inclusive of all types of men. Furthermore, this was not received well by people on social media platforms like Twitter and YouTube. Finally, K. Cartoon discusses chapter 9 (Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you don't) on Jordan B. Peterson's latest book, "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote To Chaos." This sparks a discussion about communication and fear of new information in society.
With the recent passing of Senator John McCain the guys go over his life and how they vividly remember his campaign against Barrack Obama. They also go over the differences between the late senator and President Donald Trump in terms of politics and personality. The episode then shifts into a discussion about Donald Trump's long time attorney Michael Cohen taking a plea deal and appearing to turn against his client. K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics then express their theories on the matter and where they see things going. Finally the Audio Apes give an update on the Asia Argento allegations and they assess whether or not the #MeToo movement looks bad in light of one of it's more prominent voices being accused of having sex with a minor.

This comes after Ocasio-Cortez claimed Republicans were scared to debate her. Finally, The Apes discuss Alex Jones and InfoWars being banned by YouTube, Apple, Facebook, Spotify & Vimeo. The guys then switch gears and discuss 50 cent's interview on "The View" where he discusses #MeToo's place in rap. Finally the guys end the show on a philosophical note and discuss whether it is ever worth it to lose your integrity at any point in your life and why the answer to that question might differ between people.

While having this back and forth, NFL Running Back LeSean McCoy and the recent assault allegations made against him are brought up. The Apes then turn the conversation towards the homeless and panhandlers in a healthy economy. While exploring this topics the role of billionaires is called into question. The episode then concludes with a talk about paying high prices for rent in certain cities based off of a BuzzFeed video comparing 2 cities and how much bang for your buck you get.
This is a jam packed episode of Hanging With Apes! The guys kick it off by tackling the subject of Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump's Supreme Court Justice nomination. K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics go back and fourth about the potential outcome of this particular nominee and how the left-wing of the country is outraged about it. Chicago politics is next on the agenda with a recent poll showing incumbent Mayor Rahm Emanuel doing poorly in terms of support from the city's residents. Taking full advantage of the situation, ex chief of Chicago police and mayoral challenger Garry McCarthy lends his suggestion to what should be done with the $95 million that Mayor Emanuel wants to use to build a new police academy. Next, the Apes talk about a protest against violence whose participants attempted to shut down a major Chicago expressway. The Governor of Illinois, Bruce Rauner was criticized for his take on the issue which the guys take some time to analyze. Finally the episode closes out with the topic of Stockton, California giving 100 of it's residents $500 a month for 18 months as part of a universal basic income experiment which is supported by the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.
