This one's got it all folks, especially spoilers! If you don't want the scoop on the live production, stay away! Adriana is here with all the details straight from Broadway. We chat onstage romance, mashups, and the best show cocktails.
CORRECTION: I have been openly frustrated about the replacement of "One Day I'll Fly Away" with "Firework". Specifically the lyrics "do you ever feel like a plastic bag" (because plastic wasn't discovered until 1907 or commercially used until decades later). That lyric is not in the song! The arrangement begins in the second verse, so I can now take a chill pill.
It's my favorite, it's your favorite, click play and join me on a trip through the city of lights and the Moulin Rouge! Seriously, this is the best 50 years in French history and we have a film AND musical to get down and nerdy to! Best news yet, this is just part one. Join me next time as I have on Adriana Villa to chat about her Moulin Rouge Broadway experience.
What led this comedy giant to the great white way? Harvey Fierstein's play, Torch Song Trilogy, launched his career and helped pave the way for popular gay culture. This week we're gettin' nerdy with Harvey and his protest of gay stereotypes! Along the way, we'll talk about new work dramaturgy and what's goin' on around Phoenix if you want to catch a show!
Featuring music from the 2002 production of Hairspray Intro Music from Kevin Macleod
It's one of those shows you either love or hate. Let me show you how to appreciate this bizarre piece of theatre! Cats is a triumph on the stage, even if sitting through 2.5 hours of it can feel like a little much.
Join me this episode (with my brand new sound set up) as I share my fascination with this insane feline-focused acid trip.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber: Jellicle Songs, Memory (Diane Buckley) Intro Music from Kevin Macleod
This episode is all about the epic journey of a female singer/songwriter to Broadway and her creative retelling of the famous Greek myth, Orpheus and Eurydice. Hadestown is the original and creative show I've been waiting for. Listen to find out why it should be your newest obsession too.
What do cocaine-fueled dreams, Jack the Ripper and The Hoff have in common? Find out on this week's long-awaited episode of Hanna Wonders!

I got my art history nerd on this week diving into Sunday in the Park with George and the painting that inspired it. Per my above subtitle, I apologize in advance for the amazing talent I have at butchering the French language. Hey... I only took six years of it, man.
Keep sending in your show suggestions! I'm loving them!
It's a weird episode, it's a fan request, it's 'The Last 5 Years' created by Jason Robert Brown.
This musical is another in my top 5 of all time, and that my friends is a carefully curated list. Tune in to hear all about what makes this show so freakin' awesome while I over-analyze the emotional baggage of the shows two leads.
