I never imagined that this would happen to Japan. However, it is not surprising that these aggressive disinformation campaigns against Japan regarding “Japan being militaristic,” which isn’t totally true, have been spread by CCP China, Russia, and North Korea. Listen to my opinion and also the facts on what it means, “the existential threat that is posed by China in case of Taiwan Urgency” was.

Who is invading Ukraine?

Who is invading all the neighboring nations bordering China?

Does Japan bow to North Korea while Japan has the real victims of the kidnapped hostages NOW?

If they all claim this, China must return all the Japanese they charged with espionage cases.

Hannah Klein has been inviting Dr. Ofir Haivry to discuss Japan’s role in the new era without depending on China. It is obvious that now the democratic nations must maintain their power through multilateral relations like QUAD. Dr. Ofir’s roots on his mother’s side are related to India. Hannah wasn’t aware of it, but India is known to have supported the Jewish people from persecution in the Middle East.

In response to China’s aggressive attitude toward the Japanese administration, it is nothing but a form of agitation. Hannah also discussed the phrase China loves to use, “The history of war crimes that Japan must regret what they had done in China.” It was very interesting, indeed, what he remarked. Who is worse, the person who is threatening Japan by sending in wolves like the Consul of China in Osaka?

I asked for opinions about the possible Israel-Japan relationship and his perspective. This part was the most interesting part. As they agree, the United Nations has failed from the beginning. The United Nations is the very organization that failed to condemn Hamas for its atrocities on October 7th. What can Japan expect from any form of emergency? Also, why isn’t Taiwan even included?

Lastly, I’ll write here about the hostages. Israel had hostages living or deceased in Gaza when the incident happened on October 7th. Hannah Klein was wearing the hostage pin. Dr. Haivry started to say that there must be more proactive actions to strongly advocate for the hostages kidnapped to North Korea. In Israel, everyone remembered every single name of the hostages and advocated for them. Japan needs that strong civil action.

皆さんにとって10月7日のイスラエルのテロとは何ですか？ただの遠い国での出来事でしょうか？オールドメディアは「イスラエルは戦争ばかりしている」かのように描写します。誰が戦争を始めるのか？まるで10月7日のテロ事件では、「イスラル、お前が悪い」と言っているかのように聞こえます。

先ほども申しましたが、第二次世界大戦中のヒットラー政権による虐殺はユダヤ人の方々にとっては、歴史の教科書の出来事ではなく、自分たちが体験した最悪の人権侵害、そして宗教的弾圧の歴史の一幕でした。10月7日のテロ事件は、まさにイスラエルの人口と比較すると膨大な数の被害者を出したイスラエル史上最悪のテロ事件であり、虐殺、そしてジェノサイドでもあります。

そのような事実を認識した際に、改めて、日本人が平和に生活をすることは何か？ということをお考えいただけるのではないでしょうか？イスラエルが国民を守るのは権利ではないでしょうか？また、日本人の間において、行ってもいないのに、「イスラエル人はイスラム教徒を差別している」などとお考えですか？

イスラエルは国家として、ガザ地区にたくさん支援をして来ました。水路などもイスラエルが共有した知識です。しかし、ハマスはその水路のパイプでロケット弾を作り、イスラエル人、そしてイスラエルを地上から無くすことを目的として武器としてイスラエルに対し、使用しています。何年ながら、今もロケット弾をはますは所有しています。

ニュースは、日本人の第二次大戦の空襲とガザ地区のイスラエル軍による空襲が同じで、これは人道犯罪だというイメージをきっとニュースと見ると持つことになるでしょう。これは、残念ながら、ニュース報道の印象操作の一つで、アルジャジーラが大々的に行なっています。

それはさておいて、日本とイスラエルは共に米国を最大の同盟国に持つ国家であり、そして民主国家です。イスラエルー日本の関係は、サイバーセキュリティー、防災、そして国の知的資産を守る、情報を守るというてんにおいても情報共有が可能です。日本ーイスラエルは、色々な可能性を秘めていると思います。現代においては、安倍政権に始まり、高市政権は、そのような可能性をきっと育てることになるのではないでしょうか？

It’s fall now. The weather has changed in just a few days, and now it’s totally fall. Soon, winter will be around the corner.

Today’s guest, as I have posted, is Ambassador Gilad Cohen, Ambassador of Israel to Japan. It’s truly a privilege and honor to host the Ambassador on my podcast. I had many questions to ask the Ambassador, some questions about Japan, some about Israel, and others. I spoke with him about the hostages kidnapped from Israel to Gaza by various terror organizations, and the Japanese hostages kidnapped to North Korea.

There are reasons why I would like the Japanese people to pay attention to what the Ambassador discussed with me on my podcast. It’s in English, but I hope that people will understand the reality of Israel and the people in Israel, without bias.

people may think that October 7th is “only” a terrorist attack when only watching the news. Really? The Ambassador expressed very bold opinions on what October 7th meant to Israel and its people. It’s a very alarming sign for Israel, looking back at the history since 1948. People and the United Nations have been pointing at Israel when Israel is the actual victim of the terror attacks or horrible massacres.

October 7th was an alarming call. It was something that changed Israel forever. It’s not the time for Israel to eliminate all the possible threats, including the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran has fired cruise missiles before the 12-Day War. The 12-Day War was a totally legitimate preemptive attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Ambassador’s three children are fighting in the war. He’s very worried about his family members while on duty in Japan. The media portrayed them as “aggressors.” We don’t need to fight against the media, but we do need to act. We need to support those who love peace and believe in democratic values.

The raw hatred directed against the Jewish people or Israel is the very nature of Antisesmitism. Japan, I will proudly say. Through this war, which Israel is fighting on multiple fronts, wasn’t something Israel started. It is the raw hatred of the radical Islamic terror organizations that are of an aggressive nature against Israel.

I strongly believe that Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will change Japan and direct Japan into a very positive future. She speaks about the importance of risk management, which Israel is very superior in. I believe that Japan will be able to learn a lot from Israel and share information with Israel in the fields of defense, cybersecurity, AI, etc.

One of the main reasons why I stress this is that Israel is a big ally of the United States. And, being a close ally of Israel, which Japan has supported since its foundation, will have a lot of merit for both Israel and Japan.

**During this podcast, Ambassador Cohen talked about “the Pay and Slay system” in the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria, not in Gaza. The systematic hatred to murder the innocent Israelis is rewarded with a pension by the Palestinian Authority. Please consider this by putting yourself in the same shoes. Do you support people who are rewarded to commit a terror attack to murder as many people as possible? Do you support such a system?

Last November, after the Presidential election in the United States, I started my podcast. As I have said, my first guest was Dr. Ofir Haivry. He’s been my special guest, and I’d like to invite him again. From this season, you’re able to enjoy two full music at the beginning and at the end of my podcast.

I’d like to make my podcast without the influence of someone. At the same time, I’d like people to feel and think that politics is something related to them. I’m very fine even if the legacy media don’t invite me at all. I’ve shared my past history of being in the legacy media.

I do listen to some conservative news. I think Japanese conservatism has its history in democracy. Many tend to explain democracy out of socialism in the field of political science. Do you think democracy and socialism really co-exist? My answer is “no.”

I love Israel and I have faith in Israel, not because someone told me to. I’ve loved Israel since I was in the early years of my primary school. I was praying one day and decided to believe in Israel. Ever since, I’ve never lost faith. I believe that strong will and good faith will both bring us to the future. It may be uncertain, but I believe in light.

It’s Shabbat Saturday. Jewish people dine with family. Regarding Zionism, I’ve never lost my way. I’ve invited Pastor Barry Denison from ICEJ. He is a proud Christian Zionist. He explained Zionism or “Zion” in the Bible on my podcast during the second invitation last month. “Zion” or “Zionism” to me isn’t an unfamiliar or foreign expression. I strongly believe that Christianity and Judaism exist together in peace, while there are some Jewish people who have held Antisemitism throughout history, trying to persecute or convert Jewish people to Christianity.

I’ve explained what I felt about the new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s diplomatic style. Of course, the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe introduced Japan to the world in a whole different way, and also spread the concept of “Open Indo-Pacific.” Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was very kind in person to people. Many may not know, but he often appeared in my neighboring prefecture, Yamaguchi. He also appeared in a wide variety of places in the area that I often like to visit. I’ll talk about it in a different episode, but I think this will be funny to people.

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s meeting with Xi Jinping was excellent. I was very sick, but was looking at the first and the most important guest to Japan, the United States. More than that, she hosted President Trump, the 47th President of the United States, with wonderful hospitality. I’m pleased to know that Japan was able to host President Trump’s official state visit with the best start.

With the new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. She is a whiz and has such a charming character. I think this is something that is very original to her and her style. I really like how she speaks to people in a foreign diplomatic stage. She’ll be the Prime Minister Japan is proud of in the history of Japanese politics, which President Trump left as words. Prime Minister Abe had his own character. He was very Japanese and had a superb international sense that he had in his own way.

The legacy media would express “concerns” or “politicizing” everything about President Trump, calling him “populist.” I talked with my friend off the record, and I can’t tell who that is. However, we agreed and reached a conclusion that President Trump is a very nice President. I also asked the same friend about Antisemitism in Japan.

My Jewish friend has a very friendly image in Japan, and he has also worked with Japanese people. This person was saying that the reason Japanese people tend to believe that the Jewish people control the financial market isn’t because of the Soviet-mafia propaganda. In my opinion, Soviet-mafia propaganda is another Nazism, and it’s called Antisemitism.

I’ve also talked about how the Japanese state-sponsored media, NHK, spreads propaganda in the Middle East, called Al Jazeera, and propaganda from the Soviet propaganda called Russian Today. If you are to listen to them to analyze what they say, it’s not a problem. However, the Japanese media introduces them as “the media of justice” or “the media of the Middle East" when they speak of Al Jazeera. The sarcastic reality is that the professor of the University of Tokyo had an international session with an Antisemitic bias. The scary result is that the students who learned from these left-wing propaganda and spread disinformation and Antisemitism.

Before the Prime Minister’s race, I was very anxious about the result. If the democracy, the majority votes win, Prime Minister must be Sanae Takaichi. The result of the last election was such. Isn’t this democracy? Now, the Japanese are labeled as “right-wing” politics and a sign of danger by the left-wing media. The metal drum politics? Ha? New York Times?

Feminism, in my opinion, is one form of defining women. If people understand this way, it’s not much of a problem. However, when feminism is something to be “honored” or “respected,” that’s a different matter. Every person has different views, and I hope that the legacy media understand that their definition of politics is the right decision. This is something I’ve discussed in my second book about Japanese history. I’m going to revise a lot and publish under my current pseudonym. This problem? The media.

Anyway, I decided to invite my guest who is willing to come to my podcast. Also, I’ve changed the organization of the program so that you’ll be able to listen to my podcast with some entertainment and refreshment. That is why I decided to add music.

The first guest of the second season is Adam Fox. I’ve invited him back in August. He’s back, and I’m pleased to welcome him. He has been involved in activism to introduce Jewish values to people so that there is no Antisemitism in this world. Adam has been active in End Jew Hatred and Project Max. I introduced it during this podcast episode.

My second guest is Ambassador Gilad Cohen. He’s the Ambassador of Israel to Japan. I feel very privileged and honored to invite Ambassador Cohen to my podcast. I’ll be posting a one-hour interview. I’d like to add Japanese subtitles so that Japanese people feel familiar with what Antisemitism is.

Dr. Ofir Haivry, as I wrote in the forecast of this podcast, is the very first guest. I honestly had some concerns when I started to exchange messages with him. I talked with him for a while, and he kindly agreed to become my first guest. He’s very special to me in that manner and for this podcast, “Hannah Klein’s Time.”

As I introduced Dr. Haivry in the first episode, he’s the Vice President of the Herzl Institute, an advisor to higher education in Israel’s educational board. He’s a very prominent political scientist and philosopher, and has numerous publications.

I didn’t use Substack, but later found this newsletter platform very interesting. In the last two episodes, I asked him to talk about Israel and Zionism, which is his field of study.

One of the concerns I was talking to him about was Japanese politics. It was pretty grim to even look at the future. I wondered if there is a real tomorrow in LDP politics, and at the same time, was very disappointed at how the politics were carried out during the Kishida administration and the Ishiba administration. When Prime Minister Kishida made a speech in Congress, he sounded like being a “good boy” in a speech contest. We, the Japanese, don’t need exactly this “participant-like” attitude.

It’s important to maintain a code of ethics. From that perspective, I thought it was a total failure during the two administrations after Prime Minister Abe. It became worse and worse after he passed away, and at some point, after October 7th, I was having some speech problems to overcome. However, I have to clearly say here that Israel has always been a very important nation for me since my childhood, and I had to and decided to clearly say, “I love Israel and its people.” Their kindness, and more.

The last LDP election was a great disappointment to me. To me, the candidate, at that time, Ms. Sanae TAKAICHI was very attractive. Not because of the way she made a speech. I mean, speech is important, but what the voters want to hear is the real guts and strong will to change. She clearly told the last time what Japan needed.

This election, as I discussed with Dr. Haivry and he pointed out, the number of votes by the MPs was overwhelmed by the popular votes, which were held among the LDP members. I think it was one of the very few moments in my life that I felt some excitement in finally getting some shining light in the change of Japanese politics.

There was a lot that we discussed. I pray and hope that the Japanese economy will recover and become resilient. Also, I talked about the overwhelming amount of expectations and commendations among people engaged in business from many countries about Japan. I feel that Japan will shift as it was, not in an old firm manner, but in the resilience and hope that Japan has always had.

It’s Sunday, and I’d like to pray for the good future of Japan and its open Indo-Pacific Region, which Prime Minister Abe left as his legacy. And, this region will thrive in the future. He left this gift for the future.

When I saw the hostages’ families overjoyed with the reunion with their family, it was truly a wonderful moment. Because of President Trump, the war in the Middle East, the war in Gaza, has an end. We don’t need China and Russia speaking about the Palestinians. The families must be relieved, pleased and more…

I won’t get into the inner politics of Israel, during this hard time, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was very right about the preemptive attack against Israel. Also, President Trump made an end to the war in Gaza. It was amazing.

Now, Japan has finally elected the right person who has been talking about the economy and national security, risk management, over and over during the Presidential race, and finally won this time as the LDP party leader.

I’m personally pleased at the Komei Party’s partition with Takaichi’s LDP. They were very discriminative. First of all, they’re a religious group with fat money, and I’m sure they should not be welcomed. Therefore, Takaichi will form coalitions with other parties and decide the policies of Japan.

I’ve talked about how at risk Japan is right now. I think people should understand. Also, I introduced some of the future guests.

The media coverage is mostly about a lot of concerns and thoughts over various topics. My friend of ten years, Sergeant Montgomery Granger(vet.), sent me an article by the New York Times. I actually unsubscribed the New York Times after October 7th for the coverage, siding with Hamas as resistance.

I didn’t want to bring up this topic, but I’ll clearly write this here. There is no nation that is considered “right-wing” to hold a flag. Holding a flag is one way to show love for a nation. It’s high time the Japanese crowds holding the Japanese weren’t considered crazy people. The news image covers as if the flag holders were in some kind of conspiracy. In reality, do the media know what kind of gathering it was? The answer is, “No.”

Also, the news media, like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the so-called old media, are the ones that blame Yasukuni Shrine, pick up the propaganda of China, and treat people who go to Yasukuni Shrine like criminals. The reason?

Here are the lines from the NY Times.

"Tougher” is not the right word from Ms. Sanae Takaichi. I listened to her speech, and I was actually very impressed at her modesty. Ms. Sanae Takeichi will place the United States as the most important ally in defense, economy, policy-making, and further. This victory of Ms. Takaichi is the new page for Japan to have much better relationship with the U.S. Looking at this coverage is like … a total disinformation.

Here is another historical fact I, or we, have to face. President Trump has supported Japan over the problems with the comfort women. He’s a person of very moderate character, but the media portrays him as an “ultra right-wing” populist who uses church organizations to win the election. Sorry to write this, but this kind of image is totally wrong about President Trump.

I truly appreciate the kind words for the Japanese regarding the comfort women. Prime Minister Abe did a lot to finalize the issue with homage. However, there have been many misunderstandings. I’ve listened to South Korean women complaining about Prime Minister Abe’s actions. He didn’t humiliate South Korea, and in fact, he never humiliates people. Prime Minister Abe was a person with a lot of dreams and a perspective on the Open Indo-Pacific.

These people, among the Japanese who blame Yasukuni Shrine, must visit the shrine first. I hope many foreigners, who will not humiliate Japan like a Chinese child who scribbled in Yasukuni Shrine, will visit Japan. I believe that those who are likely to destroy the cultural heritage of Japan should be banned from entry. Please listen to my podcast and listen to my opinion on Yasukuni Shrine.

I’m not trying to agitate something. However, there are certain issues I clearly say. The economy and politics in Japan are both in crisis.

First and foremost, Paypal openly admits that financial frauds are using their platform. I was stunned at their stance, first of all. There are obviously problems with the credit card companies, and overseas criminals are using the opportunities to steal credit card funds.

In many cases, it’s called scams, but there are now scams pretending to be IDF soldiers. They’re not even supporting Israel, but they’re huge Antisemites, and they’re trying to collect funds from pro-Israel crowds. Surprisingly, they’re usually in groups, and doing this professionally. Some or many are based in the U.S. I hope there are tough policies against the scams. These scammers instruct to use how to utilize especially bitoin. As I said, there are some websites that are allowed on Google and some other major payment platforms that the scammers prefer to use.

Related to that, the cybersecurity of Japan is far from perfect. There is a type of AI called Deep Seak. It’s a type of Chinese AI. This AI takes out people’s information, and the purpose is to dominate the financial market overseas, as well. In my opinion, it’s not very safe to invest to former communist countries in Asia. However, many companies do so for the reason of high risk and high return.

What do you think of Trump’s offer of a ceasefire? Of course, if this is realized, I would feel so pleased. All the hostages are freed under Trump’s plan, and Hamas will be disarmed. Probably, I should pray for it. I know it sounds optimistic, but I’ll mention that I pray for peace for Israel.

It’s the season of Rosh Hashanah for the Jewish people. Today’s guest is a special podcast with Leonard Grunstein as a special guest. It’s a two-hour podcast, and we’ve discussed various topics in this episode.

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is starting in the evening of September 22nd, 2025. I invited Leonard Grunstein, who is the guest of today’s podcast. Leonard Grunstein is a retired lawyer and banker. He authored a book, “Because It’s Just And Right.” As you could see from the subtitle, you’ll be able to understand the unknown history of Jerusalem till the city was recognized as the capital of Israel by the U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

I have invited him to speak about Rosh Hashanah for the Israeli people, the Jewish people around the world. What is important about Rosh Hashanah, etc? I’ve also asked him to talk about Yom Kippur. It’s New Year’s season, and I do understand that every culture celebrates the New Year to some extent. Japanese culture did, too. However, every culture has special meanings and its roles in the New Year. I was interested in how Leonard Grunstein describes Jewish tradition or culture.

It has been a challenging time for many Jewish people, not only Israeli people, around the world since October 7th. There has been a war in Gaza since 2023. If you listen to this podcast, you’ll be able to understand why today’s topic, which I asked to speak about, is about Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

I later talked about the U.N. making, not just an Antisemitic decision, but I’ve told how disappointing it is that the U.N. became an organization that honors the intent of the nations which has a clear benefit by spreading rhetoric to “annihilate” the State of Israel.

At the same time, as I have said on the October 14th podcast, Israel has or had every right to strike Hamas in Qatar, where there are high-ranking Hamas members. I was wondering what people would take when they listen to “Nowhere in the Middle East is safe, because of Israel.” This is obviously full of ill intentions. The UN accusing Israel of its attacks against Hamas is like what I was discussing with Leonard Grunstein in this podcast content.

Lastly, I appreciate Leonard Grunstein for sharing his family story. This has a lot to do with why I hate another Antisemitic agenda these pro-Hamas mobs use to harass the actual Auschwitz survivors. He’s spoken words for these descendants of the Holocaust, who was directly impacted on October 7th.
