WAY back in 2009 we talked to Noel Cury from the DJ Bogtrotter webcomic! These days he does stand up comedy and tours around England!

Today we bring you another ReUp from the old show, originally released on July 12, 2009! This one was actually originally part of the Jon Anderson show, but I broke it out because it made no sense to be included, that episode was already pretty long.

I want to apologize in advance to Jamias for how bored I sound on this interview. I don't know why, but hopefully I salvaged it a little.

The art on the show graphic is by Katie Sweet.

Intro music - Burden by Ardus.

For today's episode we dip into the vault of lies and bring you a re-up of y2cl radio episode 14 from WAY back in the day! This one features Jon Anderson and the topics tend to stay somewhere close to the gutter for the whole hour. Not suggested to listen to while there are people who are easily offended around, but I do suggest listening to it as there's some solid good stuff in it. Mostly not said by John.

This episode was a lot of fun to do back in the say, mostly because it involved a ton of drinking which wasn't something we did a lot. It's funny, I had always thought that Kamren was the one who brought me all the drinks during this and not Jackie. I guess I'm not as bad of a person as I thought I was!

I'm also a little shocked that the stories stayed as tame as they did cause we told some pretty raunchy stories back on this show from 2009.

Here are the original show notes for you, cause I know you want them!

The Music you hear: ~Floggy Molly: Drunken Lullabies from their Drunken Lullabies album. ~Sublime: 40oz to Freedom from their 40oz to Freedom album ~Brave Combo: Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie from their Polkasonic album.

What was everyone drinking?

John drank: -Long Island Ice tea -4 Mudslides -Vodka Sweet Tea

Kaylie Drank: -Mohito -Corona Lite

Antoine drank: Pink Wine called C'est La Vie!!

Ryan drank: Some girly wine I forget the name of, then he left us for a Big Labowski party.

Derrek drank: Caberet wine (or something)

Ben: Scotch (he was only there for a little bit)

Tonight we are joined again by DJ Cupid from the Cammy and Cupid podcast! Tonight we kick off the first in a series of conversations we want to have about why we can't say or do certain things. I know, the title really has very little to do with this episode, but that's ok. It's another RE-UP from the old show. Originally this was called "SEX TALK WITH YOUR MOM!" even though no ones mom was on the show (not counting Kaylie). For the longest time I had thought, purely based on the name of the episode, that this was the episode we had Kaylies mom come on, but NOPE.

Full disclosure I did edit out like 20 minutes of conversation that was just...kinda gross. It was funny, but it didn't need to be on the show.

However I did leave in the 25 minutes of us talking about building comic websites and the inner details of Wordpress updates! So exciting!

Notes from the original posting June 25th, 2009

---------------------------

The music you hear: Intro: Me playing Bass Songs (in order played)

Our Spot Light musician is Ani DiFranco and we picked songs from her 'Little Plastic Castle' album: -Little Plastic Castle -Fuel -As Is

Topics for tonight's show:

John saw the midnight premier of Transformers 2, he will talk about how he liked it.

A lot of today was spent playing Guitar Hero. We may be a little late in the game to talk about it's joy, but we will.

Jackie likes to give head, but not receive head. This will be our sexy topic of the night.

There is also a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT tonight for the fans of y2cl, Furry Animal Magic and Mysteries of the Arcana. Kieth W. (who was on episode 10 and 11) has taken up a new fun project. A sub comic of a sub comic that will go live this Saturday called... y2cl Present a Furry Animal Magic Joint: Animal House!

There will be more information on this as it comes in.

John made a brief appearance on Moonhawk Studios Presents tonight, made an announcement, participated in some round table, plugged his apearance on that show for July 1st and generally had some fun. Ok, that's a lie I wasn't on the show I was there for the intro, they did talk about me a lot. I left, then the show went to shit. FIND OUT WHY!

Mentioned comic people: Rikka from Skyfall Manga Eric from Exiern

On the show tonight:

Kaylie

Jackie the Beast

Ryan Hudson

MIchael C Prokop from Starship Moonhawk

Keith Wood

We went out to lunch to test out our new lav mics and see how they work! Our friend Jordon aka DJ Cupid.  This show went to places I did not think it would go. On this episode Kaylie learns that all her hard work is finally paying off and she will be a PUBLISHED comic book artist! As a series she co-created with John is getting all 10 issues in print and online! Full disclosure - she doesn't care or want this in any way and John just took some sketches she did and made comics out of them.  We also talk with DJ Cupid (aka Jordan) from the Cammy and Cupid podcast about a fun encounter after a Mariners game!
