Happy Life Studios Podcast

Have your Holidays ever lost their wonder or joy? Odds are high this is the reason. Listen and share and make your Holidays Happier.

One thing that makes the holidays so special is that they bring out the inner child in us, which is why starting the Holiday season with Halloween is so perfect. There's a difference between childlike and childish—kids get it, adults forget it. So, have your put the costumes away yet? Maybe you should hold off on that.

The song we used for the intro was "Are You Happy" by Primitive Radio Gods. We also used "Love Is In The House" by TobyMac, "The Sign" by Ace of Bass, as well as commercials from State Farm and Trix cereal. The ending song was "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante. We don't own any rights.

Labor has such a negative connotation to so many, but why? We have an idea or two on that. The question is, "Can I be comfortable with allowing time to do it's work?" Believe it or not, patience isn't anxiously waiting for something to happen—it's not putting up with delays or setbacks until our desires are accomplished or completed. Patience isn't just an attribute or virtue, it can also be a lifestyle. When that happens, Labor starts to become enjoyable. Pace and patience are some of the best ways our work, our jobs, our labor, our service becomes Happy. Ralph Waldo Emerson tells us it's the hardest working Mother of All's secret, and it should become ours as well.
Listen and share, and you'll be become Happier already.

What happens when we see the world as a place to add value instead of subtracting from it? One of the many things it does is it shifts our focus from what's missing to what matters. Special thanks to Ryan Leak for his video and the inspiration and wisdom it provided us.

“If you want to gather honey don’t kick over the bee hive.” – Dale Carnegie. In this episode we talk about exactly that - kicking the beehive. We will also continue on from last weeks episode, "Shtuff Happens Seek Higher Ground" where we talked about what seeking higher ground looks like--because as Ralph Waldo Emerson says, “If you would lift me up, you've got to be on higher ground.”

The song we used for the intro was "Are You Happy" by Primitive Radio Gods. The ending song was "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante. We don't own any rights, but we love the songs!

When life isn't fair, when tragedy strikes, when Shtuff Happens; our response or reaction is our choice. We can either rage or reach out. If you wish to keep your Happy, look for someone to help. If you wish to become something quite the opposite of Happy, then look for someone to blame instead.
In this week's episode we talk about the tragedy that happened in Texas with the flooding of the Guadalupe River over the 4th of July weekend this year, only we talk about it from a perspective unfortunately not heard by many. We actually had many options for what we could have titled this episode, but we chose "Shtuff Happens Seek Higher Ground," because when Shtuff Happens, that's the best way to overcome it. What does it look like to Seek Higher Ground? Listen and find out. You'll be Happy you did.

The song we used for the intro was "Are You Happy" by Primitive Radio Gods. The ending song was "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante. We don't own any rights.

We would also like to give a special thanks to James Kocian, for the use of his song "More Beautiful". Check out more of his amazing stuff here
