Harbor Church Honolulu

Our new identity in Christ calls us to live in a way that stands out, even when those around us might not share our values. Whether at work, with family, or at the voting polls—we’re called to respect others, act with integrity, and respond with grace. Christ’s example shows us the power of humility and honor, especially in challenging times.

As life-coaches say, "If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time.” So what are you aiming for in life? Many people are just trying to make it through life, but Jesus wants to give us a life-purpose that’s a lot more satisfying than simply surviving.

We all like the idea of being reborn. Maybe you love to surf, and after you’ve been in the water you feel reborn. Or maybe after a few hours at the spa you feel like a new person. But when Jesus coined the phrase “born again,” he meant something a lot more powerful. If you're feeling stuck in life, Peter's going to show us what comes with the new life we have in Christ.

Where do your eyes turn when you’re going through a tough time in life? Probably inward. We usually turn self-focused and self-aware when life is hard. But when Peter wrote to suffering Christians, he encouraged them to look upward, to the blessings they’ve received in Christ. Discover how to find happiness even in hardship.

What if God gave you a card that you could redeem for one person’s salvation? Who would you choose? Jesus is always seeking one more lost person, just like the shepherd who sought one lost sheep. Check out this message and be encouraged by the passionately loving heart of Jesus.
