When a downtown Regina mosque tested a weekly call to prayer, the internet lost its absolute mind. This week, we’re diving straight into the local backlash, the breakdown of community consultation at City Hall, and where the line gets crossed between legitimate local concerns and outright hate. We’re setting the record straight on balancing city ordinances with fundamental Canadian values.

In this special bonus episode of Hard Line Forum, we examine the recent deaths of three Canadian police officers, an OPP officer, a Toronto Police officer, and most recently, a Montreal Police officer and what these tragedies mean for policing and public safety across the country.

We also take a closer look at the growing concern over youth crime in Canada. Are violent offences involving young offenders becoming more common? What's driving the increase, and are our justice system and communities doing enough to address the problem?

Also sharing data from statistics Canada about the dramatic increase of crime.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Hard Line Forum. In this pilot, we lay our cards on the table, introducing the hosts before diving headfirst into the cultural and economic battlegrounds of today. From the unsettling rise of A.I. and the chaotic reality of modern dating apps, to the crushing housing market, the state of healthcare, and the undeniable value of the trades—we draw the line on where things stand. Finally, we lay out the blueprint for future segments, setting the baseline for the unapologetic conversations to come.

Hard Line Forum hosted by Michael and Marie, brings fresh opinions on our Canadian economy, holding Federal, Provincial and Municipal politicians accountable. Sharing local and national news while also sharing our thoughts and opinions while also welcoming our listeners to share theirs.
