Will the ECW World title change at at Hostile City Showdown? (Spoiler: yes) Things will never be the same again! Also discussed: the launch of our new show Just Shoot Men, flying to Japan for the steaks, Brett Davis - fan of the pod?, being wedgie-shamed by teenage yahoos, the comedy of telephones, Big Uncle Pump, a vague history of Axl and Izzy, the fact that Dirty Work is a bad movie, and a heckuva lot more. So much. More.

Everything else on the card is basically terrible! All this and more (oh, you know we've got tangents for ya) in our full review of the THREE-WAY DANCE. And next week, it's HOSTILE CITY SHOWDOWN! It's all about this being our 50th episode - what a milestone! And it's all about our guest: ECW's music licensing expert, long-time friend of Paul Heyman, and booking agent to the stars Mike Esterman! He shows up around 1:14:20 Shout out to Mario Lopez.

It's time for Luke Pennock and Brendan Flaherty to review episodes 99 and 100 of ECW, from March 14th and 21st, 1995.

We're in person for the first time ever! This one comes to you from the HH Dungeon (aka Luke's basement) and features a horrendous background hiss! (Sorry about that) The dancers are in place for a three-way! Things heat up between Cactus Jack and Terry Funk! The Pitbulls diversify their real estate portfolio! Taz changes into regular clothing!

Also discussed: the inner life of Luchasaurus, wrestlers who act, engaging with the material, Joey's monotony, the milestones on Millionaire, the price of Airbnb's in Stamford, Axl Rotten quoting Plato, Luke's time at wrestling camp, preferring caviar, the vagaries of getting into the pay-per-view business, respecting the classics, and more.

It's time for Luke Pennock & Brendan Flaherty to review 1995's shocking RETURN OF THE F***ER, live from the ECW Arena. Get the full episode here:

Mysteries abound on this edition of Hardcore Haven - Extremium Edition as we cover the special show whose name gives away the finish itself (so we have censored it in the interest of discretion). Who's in the box? Who's behind the purple lucha mask? Why should we care about Marty Jannetty? This one's got damaged tape, damaged craniums, and some restored faith.

Listen to this so you don't have to watch the show - it's just that simple!

It's time for Luke Pennock and Brendan Flaherty to review episodes 97 and 98 of ECW, from February 28th & March 7th, 1995.

It's all about the fallout from RETURN OF THE F***ER (which we reviewed over on Patreon). Someone is back from ECW's past and nothing will ever be the same! Or something. It's a lot of replays and recaps, let's face it. Well, replays for us. But still.

Also discussed: Luke's pants problems, Raven's beer-shill potential, student services in Delaware, tangents about comedy and the service industry (shocker topics from Brendan, really), belt credibility, a softcore haven, the promo debut of Dewey Foley, Shane and Mick's past, the chiseled beard of Tommy Dreamer, Tully as filler, the dearth of Arby's locations in the GTA, the moral dilemma of aquariums, and also, occasionally, we talk about wrestling. The Sandman gets concussed! Shane Douglas's career discussed! RIP Eddie Gilbert: we hardly knew ye.

Also discussed: our thoughts on AEW All Out (come on, we had to!), ska gimmicks and affording Rancid, Airbourne's upcoming gig at Hellfest, Valentines for the whole class, Our Lady Peace as nu-metal ripoff dudes, the early life of Paul Wight, Hulk Hogan's basketball skills - basically anything but ECW in 1995 - and then a whole lotta Shane Douglas (dude does a one man show). If you dissociate during this one, we don't blame you!
