Called by God

2 Corinthians 5:14-21

Just as Jonah received a call from God to do an important ministry, we, too, are called by God. If we don't faithfully follow God's call on our lives, we could end up in trouble like Jonah. This scripture passage explores four of God's callings on our lives: 1) to live as a new creation; 2) to be a minister of reconciliation; 3) to be Christ's ambassadors, and 4) to be God's righteousness.

The Prodigal Prophet

Ambassadors of Reconciliation

God's work of reconciling us to Himself shows in our lives as "New Creation." One result of this "New Creation" is a new calling to live as Ambassadors of Reconciliation in the world and moment in which we live. We join God in His mission to reconcile all people to Himself as we share the message of the cross and live the fruit of New Creation as part of His Beloved Community.
