Team USA Pitching Ace Cat Osterman joins AJ this week on HARDHEADED. Osterman is a five-time gold medalist (2004 Olympics; 2006 & 2010 World Championships; 2003 & 2007 Pan American Games), a two-time NPF champion (2009, 2010), and a former NPF league MVP. While these accolades speak for themselves, Osterman is also a four-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Year (2003-2006), a three-time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year (2003, 2005, 2006), a two-time Honda Award winner for softball (2005, 2006), and a two-time ESPY Award winner as the Top Collegiate Female Athlete (2005, 2006). Mexican National Team talent Tori Vidales joins AJ this week on HARDHEADED. Vidales, a former Aggie, is a two-time All-SEC First Team and two-time All-SEC Defensive Team infielder. As a rookie in the NPF, Vidales logged 26 hits in 99 at bats, with three home runs and 16 RBIs. Tune in to hear more about Tori’s amazing experiences in the game of softball.

Former University of Oklahoma standout Caleigh Clifton joins HARDHEADED. Clifton, a former Big Twelve Defensive Player of the Year (2019), was selected ninth overall by the Chicago Bandits in the 2019 NPF draft. As a rookie, her defensive capabilities shined as she donned a perfect 1.000% fielding percentage throughout appearances in 28 games. AJ is joined this week on HARDHEADED by the face of Ole Miss Softball, Kylan Becker. Becker became the first player in Ole Miss history to be selected for the United States National Team back in 2018 while also earning countless accolades during her tenure with the Rebels. Known for her speed, Kylan posted single season records at Ole Miss for Runs, Triples, and Stolen Bases. While she was not selected in the 2019 NPF draft, Becker spent time with Scrap Yard Fastpitch. California Commotion catcher Sahvanna Jaquish joins AJ Andrews on HARDHEADED. In 2017 Jaquish was drafted third overall by the Chicago Bandits. In her rookie campaign, Jaquish was named to the All-NPF team. She won a Cowles Cup in 2018 with the USSSA Pride. In 2019, she won gold at the 2019 Pan-Am Games with Team USA. In 2018, she was named to the United States Women’s National Team and won a gold medal at the World Championships. She also won gold at the 2019 Pan-Am Games with Team USA.
Chicago Bandits infielder Abby Ramirez joins HARDHEADED. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she was an undrafted free agent out of college before signing with the Bandits. She made her professional debut on June 6, 2017 and went 2-for-3 with an RBI. As a rookie, she appeared in 41 games hitting .243 with 14 RBI. She also stole three bases and had five multi-hit games. In the 2019 season she had the 5th highest batting average (.352) and on base percentage (.417) in the league earning her All-NPF honors in 2019. She’s known for her speed and uncanny ability to steal bases. Join Abby and AJ as they dive headfirst into the art of base stealing and what to do when you get caught.
Three-time member of Team USA, Sam Fischer joins HARDHEADED. A graduate of Loyola-Marymount University, Fischer is the first player from Loyola Marymount to earn NFCA All-American accolades (2012). She also set nine Pacific Coast Softball Conference and LMU records, including 65 career home runs. Sam is not only known for being an incredible softball player, but for embracing comedy and humor on and off the field. She talks to AJ about what it means to go pro from a university not known for softball and how a little humor can help athletes reset when they’re struggling with their game.
