Protesters are being brutalized by the police, and our president is a lunatic. Brittany vents and expresses how she identifies with the current events.

Many daughters, mothers, wives, and sisters share the common experience of coping with the incarceration of a loved one. Unfortunately, this has also been my experience. My dad was incarcerated, and my brother is currently.

In this episode, each one of these perspectives are exhibited as I interview women and girls who have been affected, as well as men who have lived and are currently living within the prison system.

Sisterhood is an essential part of black womanhood, that many haven’t genuinely experienced. Real, solid, friendships and support provide an astounding comfort, that is unmatched.
