  • 532: Can I See It?

Welcome to The Acc and Jack Show, starring Zach Ward! Acc, Jack, and Zach talk at each other about:

    • Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes, and her foray into hip-hop (spoilers: It’s just a bit.)
    • MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s intention to sue “all machines,” likely while sniffing paint.
    • A Thai restaurant in Las Vegas, which served to customers food laced with THC.
    • Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which is being delayed due to the nature of the game related to the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
    • 40 min
    • 531: Eye of the Tiger

      The Warm-Up

Welcome to a new installment of Hardly Focused! Firing off this episode, Jack asks Nate about his recent open mic events. Mike and Jack also discuss the latest in sports news, including the delayed start to the 2022 MLB season.

      Ukraine's President is a Badass

Jack, Mike, and Nate discuss the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with a focus on the badass that is President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The residents of Ukraine are just as resilient, with breweries manufacturing their own Molotov cocktails and folks casually moving live land mines out of harm’s way.

Also, for some reason, a discussion about the best chewing gum brands.

      Staring Into a Tiger’s Soul

Kicking off this segment, Jack announces to Mike and Nate that the upcoming Futurama revival will include John DiMaggio. DiMaggio previously held out from joining the revival, instead requesting a pay increase for the entire voice cast.

Jack also features audio of a Massachusetts man who was arrested for breaking into a tiger enclosure at the Franklin Park Zoo. The visual component is great, with the man wielding a violin while he is interviewed by the local news.

      The Warm-Up

Welcome to Hardly Focused, featuring Chris Acciardi, Jack Gill, and Mike Tarara! Kicking off this episode, Acc and Jack enlighten Mike on a Nickelodeon show from the 90s called “My Brother and Me.” The show was so good, it lasted a single season.

Tukka Rask Retires, and Bitcoin Fraudsters Get Busted

Mike and Jack break the news in this segment that Boston Bruins goalie Tukka Rask has retired. Jack also breaks the news of Bob Saget’s unfortunate cause of death. The group with Acc later discuss life after Betty White.

Elsewhere, a married couple were arrested for laundering billions of dollars in stolen Bitcoin. The wife just so happens to be a rapper (and she shouldn’t be.) Acc, Jack, and Mike also attempt to figure out what exactly Bitcoin is, along with NFTs.

Grand Theft Auto 6, and Nintendo Direct

In this segment, Acc, Jack, and Mike talk at length about video games! Rockstar Games has finally confirmed development is underway for the next Grand Theft Auto installment, leading all to question in what decade it will release. Elsewhere, Acc is very excited about everything announced during the February 9 Nintendo Direct.

    • 529: Too Old for This Shit

      The Warm-Up

The holy trifecta of Jack Gill, Mike Tarara, and Nate Fillers present this episode of Hardly Focused! As this episode was recorded, a major blizzard was largely incapacitating New England. During this segment, Nate reveals his affinity for wearing onesies, while Jack has a newfound love for filling cracks with his caulk.

Tom Brady Retires, Maybe… We Don’t Know

Jack, Mike, and sometimes Nate discuss the only news that would foreshadow a major New England blizzard: the retirement of American football legend Tom Brady. Except, as of this segment’s recording, said news had been retracted, leading to much confusion among the press. As of writing, Brady himself has yet to confirm anything about his future in the NFL.

      Chinese Fight Club

In this installment of “How Fucking Dumb Are You,” Jack features two stories for Mike and Nate:

      • A new version of the 1999 film Fight Club has been released in China, featuring an abrupt, ridiculous, alternate ending. “Didn’t that movie used to have a war in it?”
      • Christopher Key, a urine-drinking anti-vax maniac who was discussed at length on this very podcast, now claims he doesn’t need a license to drive, as he drives cross-country on a ludicrous mission.
      • The Wrap-Up

Concluding this episode of Hardly Focused, Jack, Mike, and Nate discuss Neil Young and Joni Mitchell‘s decision to have their music pulled from Spotify. Also covered is the news of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ dissolution. The moral of both stories: Don’t fall for misinformation – use your noggin!
