Gregory sits down with Rene Escovedo who is part of the legendary Escovedo family.  Rene is an extremely talented percussionist and talks candidly about his family, his musical roots and his bands.  Rene is an innovator in the bay area music.

The Hormones are an exciting, all female punk band who pay tribute to the legendary punk band The Ramones.  They play at a furious pace playing such classics as “Hey Ho, Let’s Go”, “I Wanna Be Sedated” & Sheena is a Punk Rocker” and more.

Director of Jazz Studies & International Music for over 25 years. Frank was the director of the award winning jazz band at Chabot College for over 18 years.  He has authored 3 books on jazz improvisation.  Frank was honored with the CMEA Jazz Educator award in 2010 and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Jose Jazz Society.
