On today's episode I'm  joined by Jennifer Hicks and Kristin Bartlett from The Bitove Method, and organisation based in Canada offering online stimulating art-based classes for people living with dementia.

The Bitove Method is a uniting of professional artists from various disciplines, all trained in relational caring. They share the goal of improving the quality of life for people living with memory changes and their caregivers. Their goal is to change the way the world sees dementia. That is why they make their classes suitable for the wider community while keeping those affected by memory changes in mind. It is a stimulating space for anyone who is interested in the arts and appreciates thoughtful engagement.

Kristin Bartlett is the Artistic Project Manager of The Bitove Method. Her background in Community Arts and Recreational Therapy allows her to creatively and compassionately lead her team of talented artists to build meaningful connections with our community online.

Tony shares his experiences of dementia through his dad who had vascular dementia, and we talk about the ways that Tony saw music bring joy to his dad even in late stages of dementia.
