Story Transcript:
Cy: Wrth i heulwen haf ddisgleirio dros yr ysgol gerllaw â'r gymuned frodorol oedd yn dathlu Gŵyl Eisteddfod, roedd awyrgylch bywiog o gyffro yn llenwi'r lle.
En: As the summer sunlight shone over the school nearby with the local community celebrating the Gŵyl Eisteddfod, there was a lively atmosphere of excitement filling the place.
Cy: Y tu mewn i'r awditoriwm, roedd lliwiau bywiog o faneri a phatrymau Cymreig traddodiadol yn hongian o'r waliau.
En: Inside the auditorium, vibrant colors of banners and traditional Welsh patterns hung from the walls.
Cy: Ysbiendai pobl trwy'r ffenestri at stondinau crefft allanol, lle llifai cerddoriaeth ac arogl bwyd yn ysgafn ar yr awel haf.
En: People peeked through the windows at the outdoor craft stalls, where music flowed, and the scent of food lightly danced on the summer breeze.
Cy: Yn ystafell gerddoriaeth yr ysgol, roedd Rhian, myfyrwraig hyderus ac egnïol, yn ymarfer ei llais gyda gwên ar ei hwyneb.
En: In the school's music room, Rhian, a confident and energetic student, was practicing her voice with a smile on her face.
Cy: Gerllaw, roedd Gareth, ei gyfaill dosbarth, yn edrych yn wyliog ar ei ddalen o nodiadau cerddorol.
En: Nearby, Gareth, her classmate, looked anxiously at his sheet of musical notes.
Cy: Islais oedd ei gân yn ei ben, ond y pryder a safai fel cysgod mawr dros ei freuddwydion cerddorol.
En: His song was just a whisper in his head, but anxiety stood like a large shadow over his musical dreams.
Cy: "Gareth, paid bod ofnus," meddai Rhian yn bendant ond yn gynnnes.
En: "Gareth, don't be afraid," said Rhian firmly but warmly.
Cy: "Mae'r Eisteddfod yn gyfle i ddangos ein treftadaeth.
En: "The Eisteddfod is an opportunity to showcase our heritage.
Cy: Byddwn ni'n ei wneud gyda'n gilydd."
En: We'll do it together."
Cy: Gwenodd Gareth, er yn nerfus.
En: Gareth smiled, though nervously.
Cy: "Dw i eisiau canu'r gân werin yna," atebodd yn llawn ansicrwydd.
En: "I want to sing that folk song," he replied full of uncertainty.
Cy: "Ond ar wahân, dw i ddim yn siŵr alla i wneud e."
En: "But on my own, I'm not sure I can do it."
Cy: Roedd Rhian yn gwybod bod Gareth yn dalentog, ac nid oedd yn amau ei allu.
En: Rhian knew that Gareth was talented, and she did not doubt his ability.
Cy: "Unwaith fyddi di ar y llwyfan, bydd popeth yn teimlo'n naturiol," cymeradwyaeth hi.
En: "Once you’re on stage, everything will feel natural," she assured.
Cy: "Gad i mi dy gefnogi di."
En: "Let me support you."
Cy: Y diwrnod canlynol, wrth i'r gŵyl ddechrau ei chwythian caru dynn, roedd y ddau yn eistedd ar lwyfan yr awditoriwm a leinwyd â chefnogwyr brwd.
En: The next day, as the festival began to weave its loving charm, the two sat on the stage of the auditorium lined with enthusiastic supporters.
Cy: Roedd y goleuadau'n boethi, ac roedd y llwyfan yn teimlo'n anfeidrol mawr i Gareth.
En: The lights were warm, and the stage felt infinitely large to Gareth.
Cy: Dechreuodd Rhian ganu, ei llais yn lan, yn poblo ei hyder i'r gynulleidfa.
En: Rhian began to sing, her voice clear, infusing her confidence into the audience.
Cy: Cydiodd Gareth yn ei dân a dywedodd â'i hun nad oedd angen iddo fod yn ofnus; roedd ei gyfaill yma i'w gefnogi.
En: Gareth seized his courage and told himself he didn’t need to be afraid; his friend was here to support him.
Cy: Pan daeth ei dro i ymuno, cododd ei ben ac agorodd ei geg, gan adael i'w lais gyrraedd y meddwl.
En: When it was his turn to join, he lifted his head and opened his mouth, letting his voice reach out.
Cy: Roedd y sain yn dyner, yn symud trwy'r awditoriwm fel gwynt ysgafn, a phan sylweddolodd Gareth bod y gynulleidfa'n gwrando'n astud, deimlodd galon ei ofnau gilio i'r cysgodion.
En: The sound was gentle, moving through the auditorium like a light breeze, and when Gareth realized that the audience was listening intently, he felt the heart of his fears retreat into the shadows.
Cy: Roedd y perfformiad yn prifseinio â'r ddau lais yn cydblethu'n berffaith, gyda Rhian yn rhoi calon i Gareth trwy symudiadau bach betrusgaddol.
En: The performance was magnificent, with the two voices intertwining perfectly, Rhian giving heart to Gareth through small encouraging gestures.
Cy: Pan ddaeth y gân i ben, torrodd y gynulleidfa i gymeradwyaeth lawn gwerthfawrogiad.
En: When the song ended, the audience burst into full appreciative applause.
Cy: Teimlodd Gareth ddryswch cyfforddgar yn llenwi'i galon.
En: Gareth felt a comforting sense of bewilderment filling his heart.
Cy: Roedd wedi gwneud e!
En: He had done it!
Cy: Wedi'r perfformiad, ymunodd Rhian â Gareth, a thaflodd ei breichiau am ei ysgwydd.
En: After the performance, Rhian joined Gareth and threw her arms around his shoulders.
Cy: "Dyma wyt ti! Dw i'n falch iawn o ti, Gareth."
En: "There you are! I’m so proud of you, Gareth."
Cy: Gwenodd Gareth, wedi'i lenwi â hyder newydd.
En: Gareth smiled, filled with newfound confidence.
Cy: "Diolch i ti, Rhian.
En: "Thanks to you, Rhian.
Cy: Hebddo ti, allwn i ddim gwneud e."
En: Without you, I couldn't have done it."
Cy: Roedd yr haul yn machlud ar y digwyddiad Eisteddfod.
En: The sun was setting on the Eisteddfod event.
Cy: Gwthiai gwynt ysgafn dros y coed a cherddodd pobl yn araf rhwng y stondinau.
En: A light breeze pushed over the trees as people walked slowly between the stalls.
Cy: Ar ôl gwireddu ei freuddwyd, roedd Gareth bellach yn gwybod ei allu a'r cryfder a ddaw o gyfeillgarwch a hyder.
En: After realizing his dream, Gareth now knew his ability and the strength that comes from friendship and confidence.
Cy: Roedd y gŵyl yn diweddu, ond dyma oedd ei ddechrau newydd yng ngherddoriaeth a bywyd.
En: The festival was ending, but this was his new beginning in music and life.
