God Uses Friends to Equip His People to Live Bravely

In studying the people who influenced the life of King David, we begin with the prophet Samuel. Samuel was an obedient servant of God who took a risk in taking David under his wing, becoming not only a mentor but an intercessor for him before the Lord.

The Psalmist teaches us that seeking God's way for our lives is not something we only do when we are young - the main pursuit of our lives as Christians is encompassed in David's prayer from Psalm 25, "Show me your way, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

Jessica shares about the past, present, and future of Puerta Abierta Church of the Nazarene in Arequipa, Peru, the church she pastors along with her husband Sammy.
