After Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden he immediately hid from God. Why? Why do we still hide from God today? Sunday morning Pastor Brian will take us through God’s interaction with Adam after the first sin. What can we learn about ourselves from this interaction? What can we learn about God?

When it comes to prayer are you ever unsure about how or what to pray? This Sunday, Barb Beard will be sharing a message entitled "A Prayer God Loves to Answer". In His Word God tells us the kind of prayers He delights in. He tell us that we can have confidence that He hears and answers those prayers. He also tells us the kind of prayers He doesn't answer. We will be looking at Pauls' prayers in Colossians 1:9-13 as an example of a prayer God loves to answer.

Following Jesus is difficult now but worth it in the light of eternity. Luke 9:23-27- In this passage we will see 3 conditions of following Jesus followed by 3 reasons it is worth it.

What can we learn from the questions people ask?Pastor Brian starts a new series called "First Questions". We will look at the first questions asked by three different people. This Sunday we will look at Satan’s question to Eve, “Did God actually say…….?” What does that question tell us? What can we learn?

Pastor Brian wraps up his Side by Side series with a message from Mark chapter 2. We will take a look at a story of some friends who wouldn’t give up.

When life is difficult and uncertain, our natural reaction is fear and worry. Hope is not easy to find, unless we look to God. Charles Spurgeon says, “God’s promises shine brightest in the furnace of affliction.” He was right! Just a word from God can transform our outlook and give us all we need to keep moving ahead with hope. This week, Barb Beard will share how we can fight for hope by asking God to do as He has promised.

Parable of the Soils.

Pastor Brian continues the series Side by Side. Last week we took some time to look at what we are supposed to do if we have hurt someone else. This week we take some time to talk about what we are supposed to do if someone has hurt us. We will look at an often quoted passage from the Gospel of Matthew that isn’t always applied the way that Jesus said it should be.
