Harry Houdini & Sir Arthur Conan Doyle struck up a friendship through their fascination with spiritualism. Doyle's fascination led him to Houdini, who sought to disprove spiritualism as a hoax. Their conversations brought them together but their differences eventually were too great to keep their friendship together.
