How to get through suffering.

Last week, Trevor gave us an overview of the Christian perspective on suffering, and it may have been shocking to hear that suffering is inevitable for Christians. But though God may not deliver you out of your suffering, He will deliver you through it. Question is: how do we get through? What do we hold onto? And are we being held in the midst of suffering?

In this sermon Trevor Lowden-Stoole brings out four truths from Romans 8:16-25.

1. Suffering is part and parcel of the Christian life.

2. There are three reasons Christians suffer -

A. They are identified with Jesus Christ.

B. They live in a fallen world.

C. They live in an unredeemed body.

3. Suffering and glory are linked.

4. There is a glorious hope for God's children and creation.
