The Lord has the same kind of persons following Him in the first century as He does here in the 21stcentury. The same struggles that the disciples deal with are the same struggles that we deal with here today. We watch our own lives unfold as we watch the disciples’ lives unfold, we learn lessons from them that will hopefully save us from having to go through the pain of learning it experientially.

We have been teaching about God’s vision for our lives, Vision is the bridge between where you are and where God wants you to be. God has plans for your life. Sometimes when we say we are “led by the Holy Spirit” we fall under the unbiblical practice of “winging it” and if things don’t go well we blame the Holy Spirit.

Walking by faith does not mean, winging it and throwing ourselves into things, walking by faith means that we take the next step that the Lord leads us to, acknowledging that He has a plan.

The word for Harvest Church in 2024 is: Recalibrate. What is recalibration? It means that we reset, adjust, change and improve who we are and what do. Everything should be recalibrated.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been discussing God’s vision for our church with the understanding that – we are the church and God’s vision for our individual lives always connects to God’s vision for our corporate lives as the body of Christ.

His vision calls us to come together in unity, it’s under God’s Vision that we experience unity as we work towards common eternal goals.

When it comes to the topic of human trafficking, it’s really odd because human trafficking is modern day slavery. It’s holding someone captive and profiting off of them.
