Exercising Yourselves Unto Godliness The Apostle in 1 Timothy 4 tells us that physical exercise profits a little. His counsel to Timothy was to make sure that Timothy was exercising his spirit. The CDC tells us that 80% of Americans don't get the recommended amounts of exercise each week. It’s a sure bet that the numbers are even worse when it comes to those in the church getting their spiritual exercise. But how does one exercise themselves spiritually? Join us as the Apostle Paul lays out a clear path for developing yourself spiritually.

The focus much of the time is on ability rather than depth of character. Yet we find as the Apostle Paul describes a leader among God’s people, ability doesn’t seem to be his focus.
