Harvest Time Church

We began a new series on Wisdom from the book of Proverbs.
Key Verse
PROVERBS 3:1-12 (NLT)

We want to encourage you to not just sit back and watch, but to really engage along with your church family today. So, gather up the family and grab your Bible, share this and invite your friends, turn your volume up, and let’s worship Jesus TOGETHER today!

Key Verse:
2 CHRONICLES 20:2-4
…some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from [b]Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi). 3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set [c]himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. 4 So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

This week as we prepare for 7 Days of Prepare, Pastor Deron challenges us to consider fasting as part of our worship.

Key Verse:
Acts 13:2-3
"While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off."

Pastor Deron continues our topic of Dangerous Prayers with David's prayer in Psalm 139.

This week, Pastor Deron begins our Dangerous Prayer series, a series on how those in Bible prayed and how those same methods work today.

1 Chronicles 4:9–10
9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name [c]Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my [d]territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

We want to encourage you to not just sit back and watch, but to really engage along with your church family today. So, gather up the family and grab your Bible, share this and invite your friends, turn your volume up, and let’s worship Jesus TOGETHER today!

We have Pastor Mason, our Care Pastor, bringing a word about Hezekiah! He shows us how in moments of triumph God's work within us isn't over and how we are tested by God at different stages of our life.

Key Verse
2 Kings 18:3-4 NIV  “3 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father David had done. 4 He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it.

This week we get a word from Pastor John about Peter and how despite Peter's "screw ups" and mistakes, God still used him!
