Harvest Time Church

This week we are joined by one of our church overseers, David Pepper! He finishes our More & Better series on how disciples must be surrendered in order to fully be all in on what they are called to.

Todays Key Scritpure:
Acts 1:8 NIV
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

This week Pastor Deron emphasizes the importance of disciples being in The Word!

Scripture this week comes from James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

This week Pastor Deron is back and continues our More and Better series to discuss how prayer and fasting operates in our lives and its purpose.

Scripture for this week is found in Matthew 6:5-7
5  “And when you pray, you shall not be like the  [b] hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.  6  But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in
secret will reward you  [c] openly.  7  And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

This week our worship pastor, Pastor John Griffith, shares a message how our worship and praise is an expression of our motivation to have love and honor to God.

Key Verse: Hebrews 13:15
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

This week Pastor Deron talks about the necessity and the power of water Baptism as we prepare for Baptism Sunday on March 1.
Scripture Today Based out of
MATT 3 VS 16-17
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and [b]He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

This week Pastor Deron continues our "More and Better" series and talks about the call of Jesus to his disciples to repent. Our Verse this week is

LUKE 24:46-49
46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

This week we begin our new series, More & Better, based on our motto and mission here at Harvest Time. Pastor Deron lead's us with a scripture from MATTHEW 4:19 (NKJV)
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Join us for Week 3 of our Purpose Series at Harvest Time as we explore what it means to live on God’s assignment, not just chase success. In this message, we study Nehemiah 6:1-16 and the story of Nehemiah to see how God gives us purpose, burdens us to serve others, and opens opportunities when we are prepared.

You’ll discover how to recognize your God-given assignment, develop your gifts, and step into seasons of significance, living for impact rather than personal success. God’s plan for your life is bigger than a job or following your passions, it’s about using what He’s given you to meet the needs of others and bring Him glory.

We want to encourage you to not just sit back and watch, but to really engage along with your church family today. So, gather up the family and grab your Bible, share this and invite your friends, turn your volume up, and let’s worship Jesus TOGETHER today!
