In 2021, he launched Alliance Club, initially as a platform to share his own music with a growing audience. Today, the project has evolved into an independent collective, party series and imprint, known for its integrity and support of alternative artists and scenes.
After veering away from his earlier sonic territories of break, psy, tribe and mental, OTON unveiled his LP New Forms of Silence ( March 2025), marking a decisive shift in his artistic direction. This autumn, he returns with its anticipated sequel, New Forms of Silence 2, exploring the deeper and dubbier side of techno, with a clear taste from the classic roots pushing the sound design ever further, always with his own signature released via Alliance Club.
2025 also sees the debut of OTON’s ambitious new project: the New Forms of Silence A/V Show. A natural extension of his practice as a highly visual artist, the performance integrates years of sonic experimentation with a collection of restored vintage gear — synths, FX racks, drum machines and more pushed to their most vivid limits. Collaborating with visual artist Onohno, the show unfolds as a technicoloured odyssey, seamlessly blending hypnotic live sound with immersive visuals.
At the very core of OTON’s extensive body of work is an unrelenting and insatiable curiosity. His live sets, whether intimate and stripped-back or expansive and meticulously layered, possess an uncanny ability to pull audiences deep into the most cerebral and sensory realms of sound. With the release of New Forms of Silence 2 and its accompanying A/V performance, OTON firmly cements his reputation as a visionary artist. He continues to offer compelling new ways of listening, watching, and experiencing the vast and ever-evolving electronic spectrum, inviting his audience on a profound journey of discovery.
