We go old school to see how they did it in the 1980's and wow. This one feels more like a TV movie than a real movie. Not exciting, not good looking, bad acting but some wonderfully terrible special effects. This came out as a 3D movie so when those shots are converted to 2D they look especially terrible and thus GREAT! Plus Dennis Quaid, young and enthusiastic. Also a dog with long ears drinking water.

Captain EO.  Tony doesn't remember it.  I was stunned. It is kind of crazy that this is a forgotten thing.  Maybe someday kids will rediscover it and say wow, this is the greatest thing ever. Or more likely no one will ever care again. This production that appeared for years will be gone from the collective consciousness.  This is what is gonna happen to most of the media we love right now.  Way back when there was vaudeville and a million stage plays which no one cares about. So many silent films forgotten, so many records unplayed and so many books. Books that will never be read, never loved. Now I have depressed myself.  I'll go read a book.
