In 2017 we visited Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Newcastle Castle Keep.  One of the best-preserved Keeps in the country, it has a long reputation for being haunted.  Sitting on an old Roman Fort, it has had a long history of death, with executions and even seeing nearly 50% of the population of Newcastle die from the plague (black death).  But most curious of all was the most unique cause for a castle wall to collapse and of course the flying donkey!

Adelaide Zoo has long been rumoured to be haunted.  Shadowy figures, footsteps and even a full sighting of a lady in period costume by more than one witness.  But why on earth would a metropolitan zoo be haunted?  What on earth is going on there?  Kag and Ali went to find out!

The Golden Fleece, or Old Spot as it was known for most of its life, came to fame when A Current Affair showcased it in an episode.  A strange photograph had been taken showing what appears to be the ghost of an old man and a small girl.  This story has always intrigued Alison and she eventually tracked down Scott Pearson who took this photo and interviewed him.  Even better, we were granted permission to investigate the Hotel ourselves.  This is what we found...

The Sallie House... is it hype, or does a child ghost or even a Demon reside there? The Sallie house has always been on our bucket list, but deep down, we truly believed it was all hype.  We weren't surprised to see it was like any other house... that is, until it got dark!  Even then, we came away thinking we didn't get much.  On reviewing the footage, it would appear we got more than we first thought.

Napier Prison was built in 1862 and is the oldest prison in New Zealand.  With four executions and many other deaths within its walls, it has long been reputed to be haunted, so we went in to find out for ourselves.

The Ragged School was a must to investigate, especially after a friend told us of her frightening experiences.  The Ragged School has long been said to be haunted by the spirits of children, who have remained and still play in the classrooms.  It certainly seemed like they wanted to play!  Kag and Alison discuss the history and the ghost stories and share their findings and recordings with you, the listener.
