In 2019, host Jeanine Plumer decided to write a ghost tour outside of downtown Austin, focusing on her own neighborhood in southwest Austin.  During her research, she discovered that in 1922, twin tornadoes devastated downtown Austin and surrounding neighborhoods.  As the tornadoes moved to rural farmland in southwest Austin, one residence took a direct hit and everyone in the house was killed.  Other research brought to life additional historic events and people in Southwest Austin, but only the lady in white started reaching out to have her story told.  Jeanine would soon find out that this spirit wasn't a victim of the tornado. One morning, a very upset person posted on the NextDoor app that she had seen a ghost on Convict Hill Road in Southwest Austin. It was a lady in a white dress.  After this post, a woman who once worked with EMS contacted Jeanine and she said SHE was on the scene where she believed the lady in white originated. Other members of the community came forward who had also seen the lady in white.  Just by talking about her she came around.  Listen closely, as you just might hear the ghost!

This is the fourth and final episode for the Military Ghosts series brought to you by Haunted Texas and Beyond podcast.  As Jeanine was researching for this episode, she learned of the original American sniper, Carlos Hathcock.  As she was watching a full interview with Carlos on YouTube, a thunderstorm rolled in.  Given what happened the last time a thunderstorm rolled in along with the conversation about other strange events and American heroes, Jeanine decided to record the ambient noise in the room next to where she was sitting while the interview was playing on YouTube.  A very unusual audio phenomenon was recorded!

This is part 3 of a four part series entitled Military Ghosts brought to you by the Haunted Texas and Beyond podcast.  After the thunderstorm cleared the area and the podcast recording for that episode was finished, Audio Engineer Dennis Foley and RenegadeRadio.net's Jemini reviewed their recordings. This is part 2 of a four part series. After the initial interview our host Jeanine Plumer conducted with intuitive Gail Gillum who told a ghost story about Chris Kyle, very strange things started to happen at both of their houses.  As the crew gathered to talk about all the strange events that took place, a thunderstorm rolled in that seemed to wake the other side up!  It was almost as if someone or several entities from the other side wanted to join in on the conversation!  Listen carefully as you may hear some voices from the other side!

This is part one of a four-part series where we interact with a few famous ghosts who were leaders in the United States Military.  The series started out as a simple interview with an intuitive named Gail Gillum.  It's an insightful interview asking what it's like to be an intuitive, when she knew she had these abilities, and how people reacted once she came forward with her abilities.  Gail also tells several ghost stories, one of which involved a trip to the Texas State Cemetery and a quest to find Chris Kyle’s grave.  After the interview ended very strange things happened to Gail and our host, Jeanine Plumer, owner of Austin Ghost Tours. When they met again to talk about (and record) the unexplainable craziness that ensued, an unexpected thunderstorm emerged, and even more craziness began.  That became podcast #2.  When we reconvened to talk about the numerous EVPS we recorded during the storm, the spirits were back again reacting to us playing the EVPS and THAT became episode #3.  Chris Kyle mentioned in several interviews that he believed the best sniper in history was U.S. Marine Corps sniper Carlos Hathcock. So, host Jeanine Plumer decided to try an audio experiment during a thunderstorm and that became episode #4.
