Ro: Într-o dimineață geroasă de iarnă, zăpada acoperea satul Săpânța.
En: On a frosty winter morning, snow covered the village of Săpânța.

Ro: Mihaela, istorică curioasă, și prietenul ei, Ion, vizitau Cimitirul Vesel, loc faimos pentru pietrele de mormânt colorate.
En: Mihaela, a curious historian, and her friend, Ion, were visiting the Merry Cemetery, a place famous for its colorful tombstones.

Ro: Pășeau cu grijă pe poteca acoperită de zăpadă, admirând sculpturile și desenele amuzante de pe cruci.
