The Celtics blow out the Piston 128-112 in a game where the Celtics led by double digits the entire second half. The Jays both had 30+ today but it was Sam Hauser that stood out the most for me. He ended the night with 24pts on 6-12 from 3 but we also saw him get 2 easy baskets on back door cuts and throw an up fake with a nice floater in the lane so he is reading the game at a high level on the offensive end. Both of the Jays really played well in this one as well. Tatum put up 31pts and 5ast while JB chipped in 30pts, 7reb and 3ast and both had stretches of this game where they looked unstoppable. This is the 15th time the Jays have combined for 30+ pts each which is the most of any Celtics duo in history which is crazy to think about. We also had a great standout performance from our starting PG, Marcus Smart who posted his 3rd straight game of double digit assists and tonight he had 0 turnovers as well.

Overall, this is a really solid win against a subpar team. We still battled some of our regular problems like turnovers and rebounding and that needs to be fixed ASAP. We turned the ball over 13 times tonight which led to 15pts off those turnovers. We also gave up 15 offensive rebounds which is just unacceptable. The part that confuses me is that we opted to start Grant over White for his size and it still hasn't done much. At this point, it is looking like Timelord will be back in the next 2 weeks so keep your fingers crossed for a full recovery!
