Buffalo Trace is bourbon distilled from trace amounts of buffalos to give you the best . . . that can’t be right. Here we go, Buffalo Trace was founded when a buffalo, drunk on bourbon, traced out the name of E.H. Taylor Jr in the dirt. Nope, that’s a lie too. Bob, stop trying to spice up the history. So what can we say about them? They make damn fine bourbon? That’s good enough for me, so join us as we tell you the real history of this distillery, and Have a Drink (If we can find it).

Another wine episode. . . why are there grapes here then? I typically don’t bother with it until it’s already fermented, or at all. We can use this as a learning opportunity, and talk about how wine gets made and it’s process from vine to bottle. So let's keep those grapes, by the time we’re done it should be wine so you can Have a Drink.

Ah, Absinth. I guess it’s time to get into hallucinogens. Maybe next week we can do an episode on shrooms or LSD. Well probably not, and, spoilers, absinth doesn’t make you hallucinate. If it doesn’t though, why was the green fairy banned in the US for all those years, and what’s the point in drinking it. We’re going to find out today, so gather up your sugar cubes and get ready for some death in the afternoon, while we have a drink.

It's time to talk about chocolate, which is normally a solid. I guess we can melt it to drink. We were somewhere around Maryland, when the beer began to take hold. I remember saying something like “someone else should drive, I’m starting to feel light headed” And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge flying dogs, all swooping and barking and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Frederick. And a voice was screaming: "Holy Jesus! We better stop and record a show about Flying Dog. So Have a Drink."

Dos Cervezas por favor, and that is all the Spanish I know. Handy though, since we’re talking about Mexican Lagers today. Is it all just Corona or Modelo or is there more to it. And while we’re in the neighborhood we figured we would also talk about Dia De Los Muertos, which I’m being told means day of the dead, I’m learning already.
