Season 8, where 5th Edition D&D meets SCP!

This week we are traveling to Spain! Specifically to a small city with a nearby castle. The city itself seems to be stuck in the dark ages as the religious cult that oversees it controls everything. This cult, otherwise known as the Brazen Heart, operates in a nearby castle and abducts anyone who questions them.

You can hear the screams coming from the castle, so none of the citizens try to stick out. The Brazen Heart love to torture. They worship a bull god named Moloch. Blood for the bull god, as it were.

A small group of operatives is sent undercover to try to infiltrate the cult and determine if they are in possession of an anomalous artifact. The group sent is, quite possibly, one of the worst for infiltrating a religious paranoid cult.

However, one way or another, they do find themselves in the castle.

Who is this group of operatives? What’s the deal with this cult? Why are they torturing people? Do they have an anomalous item, and if so what does it do? Is it possible for a helicopter to just miraculously flip over and land perfectly on two characters the DM hates while leaving the character he doesn’t mind in the helicopter unscathed? Tune in and find out!
