A funny little thing happened while recording this episode - DnDBeyond went down. So, we tried to make the most of it and just sorta vaguely remember what our characters did and what their stats were. We really have become complacent and too used to technology...all that being said I still can't go back to paper character sheets.

We are stuck in this weird haunted house with weird haunted glass creatures trying to kill us. This day sucks but I guess we knew it was going to be a huge pain in the backside when we decided to attempt to trick an assassin's guild.

Having found emperor Beau extremely dead and stabbed, our heroes now must face the tough decision of using illegal magic to bring him back. Obviously they should...but, like, he could be really, really weird about the whole thing and it make be annoying and not worth it.

After our shopping trip we decided that we had to at least make an appearance at the circus. Especially since folks seemed so happy that we killed that hydra and everyone wanted to congratulate us. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that there were a few folks missing from the festivities...

The hard part, we thought, was over. We beat the hydra and avoid drowning somehow but getting hunks of this dead beast and a bunch of underwater treasure back to that rickety ship was harder than we would like to admit. Sure, we had the Hole and the Rope to ease the whole process, and honestly we couldn't have done it without them, but swimming in a huge pool of hydra blood is really unpleasant.
